DECLAN MURPHY - FQPL 4 MEN G A F F A

Last week was a tough result to stomach, as we let a 3-1 lead slip in the last minutes of our game against Logan Metro, to eventually draw 3-3.

Our Focus this week has been on finishing games off, and not allowing teams to stay in the contest. As many of the lads have played in higher leagues than what we are in, I've challenged them to not shy away from the big moments in games, and enjoy them rather than worry about what could happen if we make mistakes.

Training has been sharp this week, and the boys will be looking to bounce back against a strong New Farm United outfit. We know a bit about New Farm, and how they will want to play. They have started the season in good form and will prove a good test for us.

Being back at 'The Summit' is huge for us, as we have made our home a fortress over the last few years. Having a big pitch with plenty of space to move the ball into definitely suits us as a group and I cannot wait to see the lads put in a 90 Minute performance on Saturday.

Make sure to get down and support us and the other teams playing at home throughout the weekend.
