GENERAL RULES Deadlines • All entries and fees due by May 8th • A late fee of 25% applies for any fees not paid by due date. • No refunds after April 15th on entries, stalls or any other service or product. Coaches Meeting: 20 minutes after the final performance of the day. See daily schedule. This is your opportunity to declare legitimate issues for the next day’s performances, ask questions, get clarifications on rules, etc... Awards: In uniform, no horses. All riders to attend. UNIFORM!!!! Music: The Super Ride XII competition has purchased blanket music coverage. However, we do not assume any liability for the music submitted and/or played during the competition. WARNING! Not all CD’s play error-free in our sound system. Flags: Due to insurance requirements: flag poles cannot have any sharp ornament/topper attached. For example, no pikes or spears. Acceptable: caps, balls, or sleeved flags over the pole. No advertising flags allowed unless prior written approval from show management. Team BIOS: Bring one copy of a short write-up, to be read by our announcer. NO PRERECORDED OPENING ALLOWED on CD Practice Time: Request preference on entry form. You will be using one of the warm-up arenas for practice. We will give you one practice in the Covered arena if available only on Monday. Miscellaneous: • No person other than show officials “on foot” allowed inside the riding arena during competition. • If a team is not ready when called to ride the third time they will be disqualified. • Strap on spurs only. No slip-on or strapless spurs allowed at USEDA competitions • Helmets are suggested, they are not required. Video: Video will be available for each Division and the entire competition onsite during the competition. This is very affordable and professional and will have numerous camera angles including overhead shots. No professional photographers allowed on the TRHP grounds at any time without written permission of the Event Manager. No video taping allowed. The event will be recorded and edited for international broadcast as a special presentation of With Equestrian Tact: The international Video Magazine of the Equestrian Sports.. Cameras: You are welcome to take still pictures from the stands for personal use. NO professionals or professional equipment allowed! All professionally developed video and photo documentation of the Super Ride festival will remain the property of the Super Ride Organizing Committee and its designated partners and can only be used for publication with expressed permission in writing of Super Ride XII. All professional photographers and members of the working media must be credentialed. Media credentials must be displayed at all times. A rider can only ride with the organization they are a member of or contracted with. A rider cannot be a member of more than one organization (unless that team has an associated agreement with the organization such as 4H etc.). A rider must be in good standing with their team/organization. Team and rider will be disqualified and forfeit awards/prizes/ribbons/etc. for rule violations. A team or riders cannot enter or ride in the same division more than once unless there is a complete change in riders. A team may enter their “other” team provided it is a complete change of riders. enters their “B” team with a complete set of new riders. You can ride in, Example: Youth and Youth A with the same team and same riders at this time. A rider cannot ride on more than one team in a single division. (Example: a rider can ride in div. 5 and div. 5A. Example: a rider cannot ride in div 1 on one team and div 1 on another team, etc.) Novice Division: Must be 60% new to drill riders (two years of total drill experience allowed). A rider is not considered a novice after two total seasons. If riders are professional (paid) they are not novice. Disqualification may result. Provide names and birthdates with entry forms for all novice teams enter. Youth Division: A youth rider is one that has not reached their 19th birthday prior to January 1st, 2014 and can ride as a youth rider until December 31st, 2014. Senior Division: Riders 40 years of age and older.

Facility:

NO Smoking in the STALLS, ARENA or any BUILDING. Do not throw any trash on grounds or in creeks, etc. We Reserve the right to remove any flag, banner or offensive items from the property. Only U.S., State, or Team flags allowed or as approved. Any other flag or banner displayed must get prior approval. Horse speed limit: Limited to a walk at all times unless you are in the warm-up arena or competition arena. Be respectful of others. Alcohol is NOT allowed on Grounds. Dogs: Must be on a leash at all times. Must not be disruptive or disturb people or horses. Must be removed from property within 30 minutes if notifiedof complaint. You must clean o up after your pet. Dress: Please be conservative as you will be in the public view and subject to TV cameras at any time. Security: Remote hidden cameras and personnel will be on location 24hrs, however, we assume no liability. We reserve the right to ban any person or remove any person for cause as determined by the USEDC Show Manager. Insurance: Accident insurance must be purchased for all riders to compete at Super Ride XII. Insurance available from the USEDA at $10 per rider. All riders on a team must be covered. Valid at all USEDA sanctioned competitions in 2014. Golf Carts: Can be rented in advance. No one can drive a golf cart unless they have a valid drivers license. Speed limit is 4 MPH. ALL Scooters etc. are limited to 50cc engine size Gators/Mules and personal golf carts OK. No 4-wheelers allowed, Go to www.texasrosehorsepark.com to reserve golf carts. NO OUTSIDE GOLF CART VENDORS ALLOWED Parking: $5 a day, or $20 for five days. Trailers will park only at the GRAVEL parking area by the RV Park. NO TENTS or CAMPING. RV Spots: Contact Horse Park (www.TexasRoseHorsepark.com or phone xxx) for RV reservations. NO CAMPING ALLOWED. Equipment Trailers: Each team may rent a spot at your stall area for one trailer if you want a trailer near barn. $20 per day Admission: $5 per day or a wrist band for $20 for all days. Riders receive an all days wristband at no cost. Release Form: Every rider and coach competing at Super Ride must fill out a release form and mail in with entries.

HORSES:

Coggins: A copy of each horse’s coggins paper must be sent in with entries and presented at gate. Out of STATE must have current Health Certificate. Stalls: Minimum 3 day rental. Stall numbers are assigned when fully paid. $25 a night. If you plan on stalling your horse during the day Saturday and/or overnight Saturday, you must pay for Saturday Checkout at noon on Sunday Overflow (Temporary) stalls are NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME Stall Deposits are taken by date received and stalls reserved by date received. Stall deposits are nonrefundable. Use the form on page 7 or the website and mail to: USEDC PO BOX 1333 Van, TX 75790. A $200 non-refundable deposit can hold your stalls until May 8th when the full amount is due. Check with us before mailing stall payments to see if you will be in the barn or in the tents. Shavings: Available only at the arena. Minimum 3 bags. $10 per bag. Must be reserved and paid in advance as a group. Can ONLY be purchased through the USEDC competition. Hay/Feed: Must be reserved and paid in advance, you can bring your own hay and feed with you. You cannot have it delivered by anyone except TRHP (www.texasrosehorsepark.com). Grounds Fee: There will be a grounds fee of $15 per day per horse if you do not rent stalls onsite. You will park at the grounds fee designated location at the back barn on the map ONLY. No Exceptions!

The undersigned states as follows: I acknowledge that competitive and pleasure horse riding and vaulting contains inherent risks of injury and damage to me personally, to my horse, and to my equipment. Knowing these facts, I nevertheless, in consideration to your acceptance of this form, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators hereby indemnify, waive, release, discharge, and hold harmless SUPER RIDE XII, Texas Rose Horse Park, United States Drill Championships, SportsQuest International LLC, the Melvin L. Cox and Authorine B. Cox Family Trust, the American Vaulting Association, City of Lindale Texas, its member clubs, its board of directors, officers, or the employees or agents thereof, and all individual members thereof and all other persons and organizations in any way connected with the events, property, boarding, lessons or any other related activity, and their representatives, heirs, executors, administrators and assigns from any and all right, claim or liability for injury or damages which may occur to me including injuries to animals, or from any and all claims of any kind or nature that I might have as a result of, or arising out of my participation in any activity. Further, I agree that I will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Super Ride XII, USEDC, Texas Rose Horse Park, City of Lindale Texas, SportsQuest International LLC, the Melvin L. Cox and Authorine B.
