All Czeched Out '"Vitame Vas," or "Greetings" in Czechoslovakian, was what everyone heard at the SPJST Lodge No. 172, Pasadena, recently. The organization hosted the Bay Area Czech Fest for the second consecutive year. There was dancing, singing, feasting, and drinking in the Old World style and many showed up in traditional dress. SPJST Promotes Teaching Czech Language
Mrs. Mary Wendt, a member of SPJST Lodge No. 63, Sweet Home, was the oldest guest attending the Gulf Coast Festival in Pasadena; beside her is Mrs. Wayne Wendt.
Supreme Lodge presents $1,000 to the University of Texas for the teaching of the Czech language. Presenting the check to Dr. Edwin R. Sharpe, Vice President for Administration at UT, is SPJST District II Director Willie E.
