State Comptroller's Office Representative Meets With President Morris

Mr. Mike Reesing of the Belton Enforcement Office with the State Comptroller's Department (Bob Bullock, State Comptroller) called on Supreme Lodge President Nick Morris December 4th to discuss the recently-passed Bingo Enabling Act, also known as H.B. No. 3. The two are shown looking at a just-published booklet entitled "Bingo Regulation". The booklet contains the highlights and essential provisions of H.B. No. 3. All local enforcement offices are under instructions from Mr. Bullock to contact area organizations and units regarding the provisions of the new law and they will be doing so by December 15th. "We're going to be in a time squeeze, but we've been ordered to drop everything else and concentrate on this effort," said Mr. Reesing.
