Theresa Kovarik Outlives Policy October 17, 1981, Sister Theresa Kovarik attained the grand age of 96 and thus became the 57th person in the history of the SPJST to outlive

Sister Theresa Kovarik was born in Czechoslovakia, October 17, 1885. Her maiden name was Tlucek. She came to America with her parents at the age of twelve in the year 1897. In 1904 she was married to John Kovarik. She and her husband settled in Lavaca County and took up the occupation of farming. Sister Kovarik has three children; Lois Sevcik, Hermina Balusek and Albin Kovarik. Sister Kovarik and her husband joined the SPJST May 9, 1907. Both became members of Lodge Bila Hora No. 16. Brother John Kovarik passed away on January 23, 1957. Sister Kovarik now resides in the Stevens Convalescent Home in Hallettsville, Texas. The Supreme Lodge, the members of SPJST Lodge No. 16 and the entire SPJST membership salute Sister Kovarik on her 96th birthday and wish her and her family well.
