SPJST Computer Project Progressing This past week the home office staff was busily converting more data and learning additional procedures to issue a "smooth as possible" transition to the projected computer generated reports. Gordon Mann, VP of Technical Operations and Barry Floreth, Technical Consultant, both of USSI of Orlando, Florida along with Gene Autrey of
IBM furnished their expertise in training our people. No set target date has been set for the actual implementation of the computerized system, but, with the initiative and enthusiasm being displayed by the SPJST staff we are optimistic that the conversion will take place in a few months.
Supreme Lodge President Nick A. Morris presents plaque and check to Delores Dobecka, which entitle her to a scholarship in the amount of $600, which is available to her when she decides on the college, university, or trade school of her choice. Delores is a member of Lodge 6, Cottonwood in District III. The scholarship award covers the period from 1 June 1978 to 1 June 1981. Mrs. Sill was born in Preave, Czechoslovakia where she married Alois Sill. Out of this union seven children were born: two while the family was still in Czechoslovakia; three of her children are still living, namely, George, Bill, and Raymond Sill.

She also has a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister Sill worked as a seamstress for Haggar Slacks and Clockwise Fashions until she retired at the age of 90.
