You can look forward to Czech music, Czech dancing, Czech singing and Czech foods in the concession stands. The audience will be invited to remain for the performance of the pageant, "This Time . . . This Land" which includes a cast of several hundred. Area individuals of Czechoslovak descent feel highly honored that the Temple Centennial Commission saw fit to designate a Czech Heritage Day in Temple. We are proud to have the privilege to call attention to the many ways this ethnic group has contributed to the growth of this area. Needless to say, we hope that a large number of Czechs from Temple and all over Texas will plan to be here to help celebrate and participate in the well-planned activities. If you have a Czech costume, we invite you to wear it to add to the colorful festive nature of the celebration. Regardless of whether you live in Temple or elsewhere in the state, don't miss out on this excellent opportunity. Make plans to be here in Temple on June 26,1981. Leonard D.
