SPJST Sales Representatives Conclude Another Banner Year The SPJST sales representatives have concluded another banner year in 1980. The positive attitude and quality as well as quantity of business written by our sales representatives is truly remarkable. The entire sales force responded to the challenge of the 80's and our growth rate continues in spite of the highly competitive insurance market and inflation. Della Kadlecek of Lodge 88, Houston was our top producer in 1980. Della who has been a sales representative since 1965 accounted for $11,731.83 of annu,, ..ed premium this past year. Della and her husband, Amos, are
active in local lodge affairs and her past accomplishments as an SPJST Sales Representative speak highly of her. Our runner . up for 1980 is Chester Shmoldas who is another highly productive SPJST Sales Representative for many years. Chester accounted for $10,466.86 of annualized premium in 1980. In addition to Brother Shmoldas doing an outstanding job as a Sales Representative, he and his wife, Mildred, are active in Lodge 74, Lovelady activities. He is a credit to our Society and instrumental in our growth. The second runner-up position for 1980 is Stanley Broz of Lowake. Stanley accounted for $6,084.92 of annualized premium for the past year. This is an outstanding accomplishment because many miles exist between clients in the western plains area. In addition to his achievements as a Sales Representative, Brother Broz is also the Director representing District IV. These three (3) top producers of 1980 will be appropriately honored at each of their respective Sales Representatives Social later .this year. Because our growth is so dependent on the production of our sales representatives, it is important that a team effort exist. All sales representatives who represent our Society are VIPs (very important persons) and we publicly thank them for their efforts. Each District Director will be hosting a Sales Representatives Social later this year to publicly acknowledge the Society's gratitude for the sales representatives and their production in 1980.
NEBRASKA POLKA KING VISITS SI).1 ST LAM DEPARTMENT—When the Al Grebnik Polka and Waltz Band from Schuyler, Nebraska, played at Lodge No 47, Seaton Star Hall, Thursday, January 22, while making a tour through Texas, LAM Curator Otto Hanus visited with them and invited the band members to come to the Supreme Lodge Headquarters and visit the Library, Archives and Museum. They visited the next day (Friday) and were very impressed with the tour Brother Otto gave them. Pictured L to R are: Otto Hanus, Al Grebnik, and two of his musicians, also from Nebraska.
(Our SPJST Sales Representatives are trained, urged and always try to be selective in their choice of prospective members and they follow that fraternal attitude; after all, that is what makes a progressive Society such as ours grow — Editor.) —SPJST-
