EDITOR’S LETTER There is so much to learn and know about life. Everyone has their own views about how to attain enlightenment.

Each opinion and view on life is valid and based upon their own experiences. There is always something to learn from everyone and you can take what you wish and leave the rest.

Spiritual Health Magazine has been created as a platform to share the opinions and journeys of others.

Dr Nicky Hamid (M.A., Ph.D., Dip Tchg, F.N.Y.A.S) Nicky is a speaker, writer and spiritual mentor to thousands around the world.

Over the last 40 years, Nicky has built up a career as a ‘Professor of Happiness’ teaching Self-Awareness, Human Potential and the Psychology of Religion at University name. On top of his teaching, Nicky has written over 100 international research papers, five Amazon books and overseen his own therapy and mentoring practice.

His insights and experiences have seen him conduct workshops and seminars in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, United States of America, India, Hong Kong and China.

Nicky is a clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairgnostic. For his entire life, he has been taught Eastern and Western Mystical traditions by teachers who have already passed on. As a result, Nick has never been to a conventional workshop. Rather, his knowledge has been shown to him, via life experiences, people coming to him for help and divine guidance.

Remember Why You Came Here - Now it is Time to Shine.

Many have been experiencing exhaustion, mental tiredness, sadness, and recurring feelings of not being able to tolerate anything but short spells of exposure to the dramas of others.

It is very easy for us to be quickly drawn into feelings of being adrift in a sea of niggles and discomfort, in the myriad of forms these can take.

Are you and even your partner or best friend often not seeing eye to eye? But wait a minute.

Let me remind you of the requests you have made.

Didn’t you ask to be cleared of all the dross of the 3D? Didn’t you ask to be free?

Didn’t you ask to be clear, centred, and feel your Loving Presence?

Didn’t you heed the call and incarnate to bring the LIGHT of GOD, through the mighty Soul you are to bear on it ALL? Well think about it. You are in the middle of a great vortex of change. Everything is coming to the surface to be cleansed, everything is being drawn inexorably into the whirlpool, the melting pot to be energised and revitalised, transformed and uplifted. You cannot stop it.

You are becoming ………. THE CENTRE MIDST CONDITIONS. So do not try to solve anything.

When it becomes chaotic, when your head spins, you feel sick and off balance STOP. Step back into yourself regardless of what is going on in that moment. And if you can, step away. Go to your centre, take a breath, and let it all go no matter what is trying to gain your attention. Stay with this for as long as you can. Give little or no energy to the outer conditions and then move on to the next thing, the next moment of your journey.

Visualise that you are in the centre of the Galaxy and you are the Great Central Sun. You are filling from the head down, with Brilliant Golden Light. See the spiralling lights extending beyond and around you as they turn at speed in your expanding Auric Field. Each point of light is an “external” condition, a point of information in layers of light, and there you are in the centre, Perfectly Still, as everything about you is moving, is flowing, is expanding.

All is well, all is in order. You have to be good with all this because the waves of energy (Love in fact ) are not going to let up. But if you can be in centre then you will be gaining strength, and trust, and unshakable knowing that ALL IS WELL that comes from deep inside your Being.

If you can see through the “eyes of Soul, and affirm and feel the “out there”, …… “It is just a movie”.

It is a crazy world we bought into and that craziness has to play itself out in All minds.

Stay the course.

And where you can, quietly Shine and Smile .

Jason Friedlander

Jason’s journey began over 20 years ago, starting with yoga and meditation. These practices led to him training extensively in healing modalities around the world, working with Shamans and Wisdom Holders.

During this time, he discovered the Buteyko Breathing Technique, which prepared him to learn the didgeridoo- awakening Jason’s gift as a Sound Healer. In 2019, life presented him with a course in Miracles from school. Jason is now training to teach this course, with the intent to weave the magic of sound with the healing message of the course. Jason currently works one-on-one as a Sound Healer, utilising a range of instruments. He also uses a unique sculpture, created by Master Sound Healer Stefan Dunkle.

This is the one journey that the whole of humanity is taking. We are all searching for the truth, and we are all doing it in our own unique way.

After ten years of searching and yes very early on in that search I gave up my name and was given another.

A name that meant a new beginning, I wanted to be me, more than just my father’s son. The name did not stick for long before I found that Jason had been the perfect name all along, and running away was not the answer. But I feel that chosen name is still in my being, because it marked the start of a journey home.

Also Navarre Autumn Allegory has a nice ring to it.

Those first ten years were filled with Yoga, and I was even studying to be a Yoga teacher when I did a meditation course and I dropped from focusing on the body to focusing on healing the mind instead.

From here I did a Buteyko Breathing course and this breath work prepared me for the didgeridoo. So you see each step was perfectly aligned. As it will be for you too.

When I first heard Sika playing the didgeridoo, what caught my attention was how he was breathing. When he had finished playing I had to go up and ask him if he could teach me to play, he asked me If I had a didgeridoo, I didn’t and of course. As alignment had it, he did have a spare one in the car which I happily bought off him. I received my first lesson and I just knew this was what I was meant to be doing. I arrived home with the didgeridoo on my shoulder and my partner at the time looked in horror; it was his least favourite instrument. I started to practice. Learning to play this sacred instrument seemed very natural to me. Playing the didgeridoo became part of my morning practice. I would get up early, meditate, do yoga and play my didgeridoo. It seemed to not matter how badly I played I just knew that the earth had been hearing this instrument for tens of thousands of years. My first teacher Sika lived in NELSON, he travelled a lot so I would rent a meeting room at the airport so we could have a lesson before he took his next flight.

I was just getting the breathing sorted when I got another prompt that I needed to go to Australia and study with an Aboriginal. I need to stop here and let you know a little about myself. I did not have any musical experience at all, I worked in an office, I was in my early forties and picking up the didgeridoo was as likely as me flying to the moon. So I found a guy in Melbourne who could organize for me to meet an Aboriginal elder called Djalu and he would teach me. He lived in a small community at the most top point in Australia . All this was organised and now I was off! I had paid a little extra for the guy who organized the trip to fly up from Melbourne to meet me, as I was seriously outside my comfort zone and I definitely needed my hand held. Tightly.

Djalu was in his 80s, an internationally renowned didgeridoo player and healer, people with cancer would come to be healed by his playing. He could aim the didgeridoo to the part of the body that was troubled and the person would be healed.

It was such an incredible honor to think that he was going to be my teacher. Well things did not play out exactly as I expected.

Even with my hand being held tightly, when working with Djalu and his family, you are with people who have a totally different way of operating.

I never knew what I was doing from moment to moment. Now I came from a world which operates based on time, the world of the ego. These people seemed to be guided in a way that was totally alien to me. They were living in the moment, highly tuned to their environment, free to react based on what was happening in this moment.

For me, I did not know if I was coming or going. I was dressed for the beach, next thing I found myself in the bush with an axe cutting down a gum tree to make my own didgeridoo, I had never even held an axe let alone cut down a tree!

So I was in the bush in my bathing suit, jandals and an axe in hand, praying for dear life that I wouldn’t injure myself in the process.

You will be pleased to know that I did not hurt myself and I did end up making my own didgeridoo.

What I learnt was that to be with these people I needed to be prepared and happy to go with the flow. There is also something incredibly special to live with people who have been living a very simple life for as long as the aboriginals have. I still have such a vivid memory of coming across a group of women on the beach who had gathered some seafood and yams they had dug up and now we’re cooking it on an open fire. Watching this scene I felt I had been transported to another time.

When I look back at this point in my life I had no plan to be a sound healer. I just turned up, felt drawn to it and acted on it. Actually, Iwas surprised when people wanted me to play for gatherings and then started to come for private sessions. What I understand now is that people were guided to see me to help me heal my heart. It helped to build my confidence and give me the courage to leave my 9 to 5 job. Now, I have committed my life to the full time job of opening my heart and listening for the voice of God. I am so grateful to all the people that have come over the years, and I hope that as my heart has opened it has helped open theirs.

The beautiful thing with sound is that it works gently. Because Spirit knows what is needed in every moment. Sometimes we feel that things don’t seem to be moving. But those are the important times where we need to relax. So quiet times are beautiful times to sit and listen for guidance. It is given to us constantly, all we have to do is slow down and listen.

There is a bigger plan and everything we do is bringing us home.

Music has been my path home. It has been a gentle path most of the time. This journey does not have to be hard. The fight comes when we get distracted thinking that our happiness comes from outside ourselves.

What the didgeridoo taught me was to live a simple life as close to nature as possible. That to play meant that I had to drop the story of who I thought I was and to just be.

I never intended to be a healer. I had other plans. The Universe is funny in how fast something can seem like it is one thing and then shift gears into something different. Hindsight is that I had been set up for this from the very beginning but while I was in it I

would have never been the wiser and the one thing that kept me

from seeing this was a lack of trust. I was always a sensitive child and felt the emotions of others as if they were my own (and many,

many times thinking that they were). I felt very deeply as I was moved by simple things around me. My intensity and deep feeling was deemed too much for my family so I was forced to push that part down to make others more comfortable. I was told that I was wrong for feeling the things I felt and I built up a huge distrust for my own actions. This was because I internalized a limiting belief that how I was navigating how I was. But I- was not ok. I struggled g to fit in and grew up in a home that consisted of codependency, addiction, lack of boundaries and poor communication.

I left my job and moved back into my childhood home to help take care of her even though our relationship up until this point had not been healthy. Being back in that environment as an adult, I started to see a very clear pattern that I had been blind to until then.

Watching those around me struggle with illness and unhappiness I finally realized how ill and unhappy I was too. I started to become aware of the patterns within my family that had caused harm.

Unexpressed and unrealized emotions were the cornerstone of the dis-ease that swirled around us. I started to awaken in a sense.

I was moving through life not trusting myself and very much disconnected from my true essence.

There was a little voice inside that made itself more known and I finally started to listen. The true voice of my soul and I knew if I didn’t start to take some hard looks at myself and how I was choosing to lead my life up until this point and start trusting myself and listening I wasn’t going to make it. I started to venture out of my comfort zone. I stopped letting fear take the wheel. They

offered Reiki at the cancer treatment center my mother was going to and something about it got my attention. I kept noticing it places and hearing about it that it seemed like it wasn’t a coincidence anymore. I listened to my inner voice and I signed up for a class. I got attuned to reiki without ever first experiencing a session because the pull was so strong. I was scared but also curious. And that trusting of self, that nervous curiosity forever changed my life.

Do not be scared to dig deep in the healing process. To start to trust yourself again and realize that you hold the Universe inside you. Stay curious about life and open to receive guidance. Take some time everyday to sit with yourself and really ask what you need in this present moment and regardless of how big or small the answer-work on moving in that direction. This is how we rewire a pattern and belief that you can’t trust yourself, that your feelings and needs don’t matter. My hope is to offer up support for those in the process wherever you are in it. I hear you and I see you. Sometimes it all starts with you hearing and seeing yourself.

in a much easier way. I wasn’t scared to say “no” and start to move in the direction I was being guided knowing that my heart wouldn’t lead me astray even if sometimes things were not easy. I started to pay attention and actually LISTEN to myself and what my body, mind and emotions wanted to express. We

truly do KNOW what is good or not good for us by taking the time to sit in stillness and observe how something feels within us. When you start to acknowledge feelings and emotions and pay attention to how your soul wants to guide you, so many things can shift. Many of my clients when I do intuitive and Akashic Record work say that some of the information that comes through are things that they have been thinking or getting intuitive hits on already, and to me confirms how truly aligned with their souls they are. But why do we feel so scared to make those choices that come to us? Because that information is so necessary for personal evolution It comes down to trust and lack of it. I want to change that. One of my favourite aspects of Reiki as well as the Akashic Records is that we have all of this energy and information inside of us already. Literally at our fingertips and in our consciousness.

We are hardwired to receive guidance, support and love from the Universe. But somewhere along the way we were told that we couldn’t trust ourselves, that we had to believe someone or something outside of ourselves.

We are our tupuna (ancestors) incarnate, we are their living embodiment and our healing is empowered by their presence. In the world nothing exists or grows in isolation. Nothing heals in isolation and for every action we take there is a reaction. Every single thing we do, say or think matters. We are the straw through which wairua, greatness and ancestral healing energy passes.

I would like to share with you today the ancestral philosophy that supports my practice of traditional Māori healing and offer you a brief insight into my personal spiritual journey. Before I begin

it is appropriate that I share some Māori terminology that gives context to my practice.

Tikanga are our terms of engagement with the earth, each other and our communities. Tikanga is what keeps us safe. They are the rules by which we must conduct ourselves, in fact I would go as far as to recognise them as our culturally appropriate health and safety plan, by which we calibrate our moral compass.

Mauri is the gift of life, all things have a mauri, a life essence, a metaphorical light that shines from within us that reflects the state of our vitality. Mauri is akin to a zipper that binds the physical and the spiritual in order for us to maintain balance. The goal of Māori healing is not to address disease but to restore the mauri of people and the land that sustains us. Disease or Dis-ease, is a reflection of a derangement of natural (nature‘s) order. Healing is about restoring core values and natural lores eroded by the social and economic demands in a modern society. We live in a society that values independence over interdependence and as a consequence we are losing our connections to each other and those that have gone before.

The primary precept of indigenous healing is that the land must always be our first patient and we all can affect real change in the care of our planet. Without the health and wellbeing of our universe there will be no people. Despite the current trajectory of this planet in dire need of healing, there remains hope. Love it or hate it technology including social media is helping to create a renewed sense of spirituality and connection to the land. This publication, available online world-wide, is testament to that. We are now exposed to a far greater number of indigenous healing perspectives beyond our own respective religious, national and ethnic identities and our once limiting geographic borders. Through this online world of connections, the balance of power is shifting and achieving critical mass to change the current trajectory of a globally polluted and exploited land and seascape is possible.

At a time when the world appears to be gripped in chaos, war, terrorism, racism, extremities of poverty, global pollution and social injustice there remains hope. The ability to transcend the physical limitations of our existence and syndicate our knowledge and spiritual connections to the land through our indigenous healing traditions we can inspire hope of a different reality.

As healers from around the world it is more important than ever before that we acknowledge, share and understand the importance of our connections to the plants, the earth and each other. This can bring new perspectives and inspiration to ourselves and our peers around the world and re-open doors to both the physical and

spiritual dimensions of healing. From the perspectives of many cultures across the globe we are not the healers. It is nature and the network of visible and invisible connections that deliver healing. We are little more than the vessels of healing when we revisit our cultural traditions and founding healing principles.

As a traditional Māori healer I rely heavily on my physical senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell but also my spiritual senses of pumanawa (intuition), tāhono (connectedness), aroha (love and empathy), tiakitanga (guardianship and protection) and utu (the notion of reciprocity). For me, Rongoā Māori, the Māori art of

healing, can loosely be described as the ability ‘to sense’.

Nature is our blueprint for human healing. The seen and unseen dynamic connections between all things dictate our wellbeing. As science advances, indigenous and traditional healing practices are looking less and less flaky. The study of epigenetics and traditional knowledge relating to intergenerational trauma and natural gene suppression and activation in plants in response to their changing environment are now shining their light on traditional philosophies of spirituality.

My ancestors (Māori and Celtic) understood the world of connections (endless ripples born of cause and effect) based on centuries of observation and complex reoccurring patterns.

Traditional healing perspectives on health and wellbeing are important because they give focus to the fact that our health is little more than a reflection of the health, wellbeing and care we bestow on the land that sustains us.

They also remind us that wellbeing is a way of living in community (human and nature filled). Māori, like all indigenous cultures, share a spiritual connection with the land that has sustained them for many generations.

Call it intuition, unconscious bias or wairua, we all have it, we just need to relearn how to connect to the living world around us rather than persisting in trying to master it.

With regard to my own spiritual journey with healing there have been times in my lifetime when things have happened that science would struggle to explain.

In the beginning, I just consigned these things to the ookey spooky basket with gratitude for the fact that something obviously worked, even if I had no idea what or how.

I tried not to think or speak about them in case people thought I was crazy or getting a bit too full of my own ability. But as time passed and such instances continued to randomly occur, I started to pay more attention to them. When did they happen, what were the common denominators across similar events, how could I make better use of these gifts?

While I have some theories, the answers to these questions and the workings of wairua or spirit, for the most part, they still elude me but I no longer have a sense of urgency to make sense of them.

However, one thing is for sure, they were real and I now know miracles do happen and that miracles are just things science has yet to explain. I believe that the more we operate from a place of integrity and connectedness the less random these kinds of healing events become and the more we acknowledge the spiritual aspect, the easier it is to connect and facilitate this type of special healing.

Just for a moment consider the notion that if Mother Earth/ Papatūānuku and God (or whoever we might define as our supreme being) were one and the same, would we treat her any differently?

In the words of one of my greatest inspirations; “Traditional knowledge is only of value when it is used, that is when it is applied in a modern context to the realities of today rather than just talking about it. We must use it to bring life back to the land and therefore the people. Traditional healing practices are a way of belonging to the world, they are not a treatment but about putting our roots down deep in the Earth in order to sustain ourselves” - Rob McGowan.

New technologies have provided an unprecedented opportunity to connect global healers and like-minded communities of interest to change the healing conversation from a set of purely physical and human considerations to include the relevant spiritual considerations as well.

As the world’s inhabitants unite and begin to act in the interests of the planet and the right to survival of all of its inhabitants, the masses are initiating a powerful and unstoppable landslide that will overwhelm the assumed and immoral rights of some businesses and individuals to; exploit and pollute the planet’s resources with no regard for the plethora of other species and people who depend on them for their survival and; the insatiable appetite of corporations

to compete, expand, and to accumulate wealth and power for the few who foster their growth.

I encourage you to trade in any selflimiting healing definitions and allow yourself to become part of the unstoppable landslide enabled by modern technology, that is the peoples global network and their appetite for change, that is about to force the recalibration our moral compass or hasten our demise as a species. We are living in a time of real consequence and our indigenous healing practices a way of navigating us toward a better future.

I implore you to use your gifts to reconnect with our wider family in our natural world, and use our communal wisdom to shine a light on the need and our inherent capacity to heal our planet.

Our wellbeing is predicated by the wellbeing of all others in our global tribe.

Our interconnectedness and ability or inability to act with One Heart, One Breath and as One World will determine our destiny.

Kim Wedel www.anandasaiart.com An Artist’s Transformational Journey in Discovering her Gift I currently live in Australia with my husband Steve, in beautiful Murwillumbah close to the boarder of New South Wales Although we are only 6 minutes from town we are surrounded by rolling hills and bush, enjoying peaceful country living. I am constantly working on art projects, commissions and my own visionary inspirations.

I’m inspired by divine guidance to share this gift with others.

For over a decade, I’ve been teaching art and spirtual art classes and workshops. Most recently I have been teaching children and teenagers.

People that attend these Angelic Art Workshops have heart opening experiences. It helps them to reconnect with themselves to tune into their creative side. With my guidance through visualization and drawing/painting techniques, an aspect of their divine love and nature comes through as energy as colours and symbolism. This reflects parts of themselves that will express wisdom which is significant to them at that moment. This helps them in their own transformational

Sometimes they were so intense and the swishing noise was so loud I couldn’t hear the teachers speaking in class or the kids. So all I could do was draw and the teachers let me do it. They knew I was struggling and I internally thanked them later.

I was born in Waitakere Ranges in Auckland. My early years as a child were spent in the beautiful bush surrounded by nature.

Since then, I have had a love of nature and feel a strong connection to it..

It is the major source of my inspiration

and imagination, as it always feels alive and full of ancient knowledge. For me nature is one of our greatest teachers.

On one hand I was quiet and shy and on the other a free spirited and adventurous little girl.et sometimes in our lives we all go through some challenges that force us to go deep within to search for solace, peace, or even pray for help.

At the age of When I was three, 3 my mother noticed I was deaf in one ear. By the time I was six I had regular ear infections, meaning I needed to undergo grommet surgery. This led to complications and surgeries until I was 18. . Every time I was wheeled into the surgery room I felt I wasn’t alone, like an invisible someone was watching over me. While the nurse was

Mother was very supportive and inspired me in many ways with her talents. She could see this gift I had and it was helping on many levels by healing me and giving me joy. I owe my gratitude to my mother’s guidance, patience and understanding.

When I was 21 I moved to Melbourne for a more fast-paced life and began working as a personal trainer. The ego-self loved it! I became addicted to exercise and the power and strength it gave me. I soon got the nickname ‘Muscles’ and became so caught up in the masculune side of myself that I couldn’t sleep properly as I was running on adrenaline. A back injury when I was 25 forced me to slow down. God’s plans turned my life upside down - the inability to train like I used to saw me spiral into a depression.

I was forced to call out for divine help. It was time to embrace the feminine side of myself. I dealt with this challenge through various therapies and spiritual healing. This led to an awakening that I wasn’t being my true self and needed to return to my destiny - which meant returning back to my art.

My heart opened up and allowed this familiar energy to flow through the hands onto the paper. I was allowing the awareness to reconnect with oneness and the self-portrait expressions (spirit guides, celestial beings, ascended masters, angels, deva’s and creatures of nature) were images that came with deep profound messages of wisdom from divinity itself. This helped with my own transformation and spiritual growth and brought more happiness, balance, and fulfilment to my life.

As a few years went by and many more heart opening experiences like having darshan at the age of 28 with my guru in India and meeting my husband.

So here I am self-taught or more like divinely taught, an intuitive, clairvoyant and Visionary artist who uses different mediums and textures to enhance the depths and vibrancy in expressing what I consider a God given gift. I am deeply drawn and inspired to paint portraits of Divine masters and Angelic Deva’s interwoven with symbolism, colour vibrational energy and nature. I believe in the power of creation, which leads, to oneness and ultimately to my inspiration of Supreme Love.

One day at a mind/body/spirit expo I was inspired by two women who were visionary artists one was painting a Native American spirit guide and this energy captivated me. They spoke about them running Spiritual Art workshops and I was invited to one. The workshop started with a mediation first, then we walked over to the large paper on our easel. I started experiencing visions. It felt like the soul in this body from many past lifetimes has done this type of expression on paper with chalk pastels before feeling and it felt very natural. It was the most healing and fulfilling experience I had ever had since childhood. From that day onwards the door had opened, knowing this was my pathway and I felt like nothing could stop this great discovery in me. And with Divine guidance it

Especially in oils I feel the many layers of colour have an intense sharpness, yet portray a soft glowing appearance, a heavenly glow emanates from the painting and that hopefully the depth in the eyes will take your breath away and at the same time touch your heart. For me the eyes are the window of the soul “the presence of God”.

As for painting Divine Masters or Celestial Devas, I feel Divine consciousness flows through the heart and hands onto the canvas or paper, so in effect, they paint “themselves” and that emanates their Divine Loving energy (nature).

I sometimes feel a universal anger for myself and everyone who has let someone hold them back in life. I use these opportunities when the anger arises to process where it is coming from and move away from this space into an area of transformation. You can stay angry forever, but if you do you are only holding yourself back. I had wasted so much time crying and being miserable, for years wondering what was wrong with me and why I wasn’t good enough to have someone want me the way I wanted to be loved. I remember spending days lying down, not wanting to move or do anything because I was upset that he didn’t spend time with me in the way that I wanted, that he didn’t show me he loved me through buying me gifts or taking me on holidays.

I thought that these things were what love was and it was expressed through. Why did I feel like I needed someone to prove

to me through material things that I was worthy of love? This went on for years, the more I expected the more miserable I was and the further away he stayed. He didn’t know how to make me happy and the reason for that was that I was looking for love and happiness in the wrong places.

How could I put such a responsibility on someone else? It was because for some reason we are conditioned to believe that relationships are there to make us happy in their entirety. Yes, I agree that there is much happiness in a feeling of togetherness but relationships are not the sole source of your happiness and my view is that relationships are brought into your life to heal you.

When healing is involved there is pain to work through. This is why some people choose to be in relationships which experience infidelity, abuse, anything where you have an opportunity to move away and realise yourself worth. Some people heal and move on, some people stay and suffer. If you look at relationships as a healing opportunity you will be able to identify why you attracted it into your life in the first place, what you are meant to learn and if you are meant to stay or go.

“ What am I supposed to do?” “Show me the signs in the clear physical world of what I am meant to do next?” “Use me for who I am meant to be!” were the phrases I would shout out loud to the Universe. I knew there was more for me than what I was experiencing. I was stuck and miserable until something changed in me. I can’t recall at this point what triggered the change but I started going inside myself even more and taking bigger risks in my career. I moved physically, mentally, emotionally from the fear space and connected deeply to my spirituality. I wasn’t waiting for anyone anymore. I felt the pain of ‘moving on’ and worked through it rather than suppressing it out of fear that I may not attain what I wanted. I did not want to be in denial any longer.

If you get to a stuck point in your life, remind yourself that you have the power to take control and change. You don’t need to wait for a significant moment because if you are connected to the Universe, which we all are, your timing for everything that arrives in your life will be impeccable. Now, I often think how could I have ever let someone dictate to me what to do based on their actions. The reason why I ponder these thoughts is I have hundreds of clients who allow themselves to be stuck in situations which could be changed if they make the change within themselves and have the courage to ‘move on’ both emotionally and physically. I notice that many will mentally know what the right thing to do is but sadly it isn’t logic that makes us move and transform our own lives. It is the way we feel in conjunction with our actions. If your thoughts, words and energy are not in alignment you cannot transform in the way that you want to because a huge part of you is living in fear.

How could I do this to myself? To think that I had to wait for you to get where I needed to go, that I have had this illusion that something is going to change in you to give me what I want. That I needed some sort of permission to be me. Living in fear that I have put my fate in your hands. Why would you give away such power? That I thought death was something of the future and not part of day to day life.

Forgive yourself and move on.

You don’t need anyone to validate your worth. Be it a personal relationship or your work. Don’t waste time waiting for a partner to step up, a job to get better, a new relationship to show up.

All of these things fill a void that is inside you and if they are taken away you would be back to feeling the way that you feel now. I live my life not waiting for others but not being closed off to having someone to do them with either. It is a fine balance. There is a way to carry on with life not out of anger and fear but with confidence and flow - a way where there is space for surprises to show up into your world but without time being wasted on feeling miserable and waiting. You move away from disappointment when you expect nothing and you gain everything from knowing that the power lies with you to change everything.
