Unless otherwise stated, girls may attend summer programs and camps for either the grade they just completed or the grade they will enter in the fall. For those entering Kindergarten, contact Member Support before registering to confirm if a particular summer program is appropriate for your girl.

Two adults stay with the girls at night— either GSSN staff or a background-screened adult volunteer. Each of our camps have its own unique amenities. Learn more about overnight options at our camps by exploring the camp photo galleries on our website.

Alisha is a Program and Outdoor Experience Specialist in the Grand Island area, since 2012. She loves photography, teaching new skills, and spending time with her kids.

Kat is a Program and Outdoor Experience Specialist in the North Platte area, since 2019. She is an avid horseback rider and loves going on adventures with her horse, Winston.

Erin is our Outdoor Experience Manager and has been with the Spirit of Nebraska council since 2017. As a 35+ year Girl Scout alum, she credits her love of nature and the outdoors to the many summers she spent at camps Wa-Shawtee and Maha. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, and caving—but her favorite activities combine nature with science!
