Our Crest Design & Colour

The St Paul’s crest represents the centrality of the cross to the Christian faith and thus mission of our school; profiled by the rising sun symbolising our hope and future in Christ. The crest is made up of the central logo with the name and motto of the school around the diameter.

The logo should not be redrawn, digitally manipulated or altered. No rescaling of the horizontal or vertical proportions should occur.

Dux and High Achievers

Message from the Principal

We are very proud of the achievements of our Year 12, 2019 students and are excited to hear of their many plans for the future.

As the only school in the greater west of Sydney to offer both the Higher School Certificate (HSC) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, senior secondary students at St Paul’s choose the credential that best suits their skills and interests. Combining our 2019 results, 48% of students achieved an ATAR above 80 and 19% achieved an ATAR above 90, with strong results recorded across a broad range of subjects. especially congratulate the 2019 Dux of St Paul’s, Kirsty Lavender, who achieved an ATAR of 98.7.

Regardless of whether our students choose the HSC or the IB Diploma Programme in their senior years at St Paul’s, they are gifted with an education that equips them with skills required for the twenty first century – our dedication to this aim is absolute and can be clearly demonstrated by our teaching and learning initiatives.

This publication is designed to highlight the accomplishments of our students as they move beyond their St Paul’s experience. It is always inspiring listening to our graduating students’ hopes and aspirations for the future and we pray for God’s blessing on them as they commence a new stage of life.

Whatever field of endeavor they now choose to undertake, am proud of the role that the teachers, staff and the wider school community of St Paul’s have played in the development of each students’ interests and character. A St Paul’s education equips students to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world and have no doubt that each student now forges ahead into their future with - not only the will and skills to succeed - but the capacity to make a positive and lasting impact wherever their journey takes them.

At St Paul’s, we lay the foundation for our students’ ongoing achievement, year after year, with our commitment to nurturing and educating the whole child. St Paul’s offers extensive co-curricular activities that help students grow academically, physically, emotionally and spiritually within a safe and supportive environment. At St Paul’s, students are empowered to be involved in the full life of the school at every stage of their journey from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.

Kirsty has flourished during her years at St Paul’s and credits the development of her strong organisation and self-motivation skills as important factors in her remarkable academic achievements. Striking a healthy and successful balance between her studies and many co-curricular pursuits, Kirsty has enjoyed her final year of study at the school.

Within the classroom, she particularly relished the school’s excellent French and Mathematics subjects, while beyond her formal studies Kirsty took part in a range of activities to help relax and refocus - including chess, netball and theatre.

With her results unlocking a range of exciting possibilities, Kirsty now plans to study either Biomedical Engineering or Medical Chemistry.

Don’t work yourself too hard, it’s important to take well-earned breaks as well.

On track to securing her excellent results, it was Charlie’s ability to effectively balance her many sporting interests, healthy social life and extensive study commitments that was one of her most significant achievements. Another was setting herself ambitious goals for each of her subjects – consistently challenging herself to raise the bar.

An accomplished sportsperson, outside of class Charlie enjoyed activities such as cross country, soccer, triathlon, netball and dance.

In line with one of her favourite subjects - Sports Exercise and Health Science – Charlie is now looking to study Physiotherapy through a Sport and Exercise Science Degree at the University of Technology Sydney.

Work on your time management skills and level of consistency early in Year 11 and choose subjects that you enjoy.

Dance proved to be Amelia’s favourite subject during her final year at St Paul’s, providing her with a creative release to enjoy with her friends. Recognising the importance of a strong support network, she credits her peer group, committed teachers and tutors for their role in her success.

Amelia valued the emphasis St Paul’s places on providing a holistic, well-rounded education. The abundance of co-curricular activities and the ongoing encouragement to pursue individual interests has helped shape her education. Complementing her strong academic results, Amelia’s participation in dance, theatre, choir and the Duke of Edinburgh Award show the impressive scope of her talents.

Looking forward, Amelia wants to utilise her strong results and interests to study Medicine, Medical Science or Biomedicine.
