tiff '22 "The Creator's" Party
O
ne of the most exciting parties during the Toronto International Film Festival '22 was produced by a partnership between the Canadian International Fashion Film Festival (CANIFFF) and Hollywood North. MARKED Restaurant (132 John Street) served as the perfect venue, in the heart of Toronto's entertainment district. With over 500 guests, the "Creator's Party" was the place to be and be seen. Featuring 7 live bands, along with artists painting couture fashion pieces, live on stage. Peter Triantos painted a dress by Shelli Oh, worn by Joni Kim. Elyse Saunders painted a Stephen Caras dress, worn by Stella Steinberg. And Julia Mercanti painted a bespoke suit by Garrison, worn by Kristian King. Carlos Delgado, the Colombian artist was also performing his magic. Making the event extra special was the attendance of Yanka, wife of TIFF's Co-founder, Henk Van Der Kolk. Kudos to Roger and Martine Gingerich, Gordon Weiske, Sophon Chou and Mark Sarson for "Creating" the extraordinary "Creator's Party" celebrating Canadian talent on the world stage.
