SPECTRUM FOR LIVING ANNUAL REPORT 2020

Dear Friends and Family,

Dear Spectrum for Living Friends -

We are proud to highlight Spectrum for Living’s accomplishments throughout 2020 by sharing with you the programs, events, and services we offered our clients to increase their independence and quality of life.

We are pleased to share with you our 2020 Annual Report. As you will see in the following pages, we had a wealth of programming and events throughout the year that provided an enriching and meaningful life experience for the many adults that we serve.

Unprecedented times call for unprecedented actions, a fact which Spectrum for Living certainly validated with its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the pandemic presented many unforeseen challenges, the Spectrum for Living executive team, management, nurses and other professionals - particularly our direct care staff - all ensured that we remained steadfast in carrying out our mission. Having a devoted Board of Trustees also contributed to our ongoing success, and I thank all of our Trustees for their constant devotion. I also thank Spectrum for Living Endowment for providing financial assistance where needed. Financial support from all our benefactors large and small continues to help us in our mission. From our virtual 5K to our annual golf outing, our donors have been monumental in keeping Spectrum's mission strong. Your contributions strengthened our impact in the community, allowing us to influence nearly 1000 lives throughout the year. We are grateful for your continued contributions and ensure that we will be respectful stewards of your gifts.

2020 marked an important litmus test for Spectrum for Living. The coronavirus pandemic brought much disruption to our daily lives and challenged us in many ways. Nevertheless, the pandemic had the effect of bringing people closer together at Spectrum for Living. Our many staff members are our Heroes and are our greatest resource. We ensured the safety and dignity of our clients while pivoting to emerging needs, and we successfully adapted our programs and events with our clients' wellbeing in mind. In so doing, we kept our dream alive while keeping our community safe. Of course, a key component in our continued success is your unwavering support. As originally envisioned by our Founding Parents - Alexander Gallione, Adele Guttenberg Rena Kamena, Annette Levy and Edna Melosh - Spectrum for Living is a partnership between families and our compassionate, dedicated staff. Without you, the dream of our Founding Parents would have expired long ago. You keep their dream alive by being an active member of our community – a community that brings meaning and joy to the lives of people who very much need it, and who very much deserve it.

It is truly an honor to serve as Chairperson of Spectrum for Living, and I do so with a fond appreciation of the lives that we touch. Thank you for your continued support of our organization.

With your continued support, the Spectrum for Living legacy is preserved. We thank you for being a part of the Spectrum for Living family and for believing in our Mission.

Respectfully,

Regards,

BRIAN TODD

CHRISTOPHER L. PERRY
