A collection of speeches and live music are centered on the goal of reforming federal, state, and local marijuana laws.

This peaceful fest makes its home in the gentle north country of Michigan. Surrounded by the Manistee National Forest, Hoxeyville is the Midwest’s premier Americana and roots festival. Copper House Detroit provides Bud&Breakfast Lodging, Event Bookings



Copper House Detroit is a cannabis-friendly Bud & Breakfast that also offers event space. Opened in 2019, co-owner Jessica Jackson said you can expect breakfast waiting for you, whether it be donuts from the local shop in town or add on a catering service bottom line: “When you stay here, you’re going to eat well.”
She said you can also book an event for up to 50 people in Copper House’s 1000 square foot basement.
Built in 1932, Copper House is completely 420 friendly in the house, outside in its zen-like backyard, you get to decide where and when you smoke. Copper House is on Detroit’s Northwest side, right off of the Avenue of Fashion, which has the highest concentration of Black-owned businesses in the US.
In this neighborhood, you’ll find some of the most adorable boutiques and some delicious eateries including Kuzzo’s Chicken & Waffles, Good Times on the Ave, and Table No. 2. We’re about 15 minutes from downtown Detroit, and even closer to Downtown Ferndale, and Royal Oak.
Copper House aims to create experiences for its guests: The Jacksons can arrange a massage therapist, book a budtender or plan meditation and sound therapy.
Jackson, MBA, M.ED, is a content marketing strategist, writer, designer, community architect, educator and healing practitioner. She has over a decade of experience in education and community advocacy.
Jess is co-owner of content marketing design firm, LOUD.social, which has launched a series of community-focused campaigns.
Her business partner and wife, Cara Jackson is a cultivator. She currently works for a vertically integrated grow facility in Southeast Michigan and has a degree in Ecology she loves plants. Her past work includes urban agriculture and parks and recreation.
She worked for the City of Detroit before transitioning her career to cannabis. Her dream for cannabis is one that is accessible and local.
