Master of Science in Childhood and Special Education PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Through small class settings, students build relationships with their professors that create a positive and engaging learning community. This program is interactive with many connections to local public schools. Students leave this program with a wealth of content and application knowledge.
Gain your certificate in both Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) and Special Education (Grades 1-6). With this, you’ll be prepared to effectively serve students in elementary classrooms as well as students with disabilities. Enhance your employability in elementary schools. Graduates work as classroom teachers prepared to teach all learners and special educators in inclusive settings or special education settings. Benefit from the knowledge of other local teachers, counselors and administrators. Students have the opportunity to network and learn from active guest speakers about current trends and initiatives within the field.
