LAN CARGO y sus filiales colaboraron activamente en la realización de la serie documental Cargas Imposibles para la cadena National Geographic, cuya exhibición comenzó en octubre. La serie, que consta de cuatro episodios de una hora cada uno, trata sobre la industria de la carga aérea en Latinoamérica, sus características y su desarrollo. En cada uno de ellos se exponen casos relevantes para la región que implican un desafío para su transporte, ya sea por sus características como por sus implicancias. Así por ejemplo, se muestra el traslado en pocas horas de millones de flores desde las fincas de producción en Colombia hasta su destino final en Nueva York para el día de San Valentín o el complejo y desafiante transporte de nueve elefantes desde Namibia hasta México. LAN CARGO and its affiliates actively contributed to the production of the documentary series Cargas imposibles (Impossible Shipments), which was seen on the National Geographic channel for Latin America beginning in October. Through four one-hour episodes, the series looks at the cargo industry in our region, focusing on its characteristics and development. Each episode features cargo shipments within the region that are challenging because of their logistical issues and implications. Examples include the speedy transport of millions of flowers from farms in Colombia to their final destination in New York for Valentine’s Day, as well as the complex and difficult transport of nine elephants from Namibia to Mexico.
