Do you really believe that ‘You CAN Do It’ as we hinted upon last week? Have you truly given yourself time and space to think with GOD? Or, is that too foreign a concept for you? If it is too high an aspiration, that’s okay. However, in order to elevate your thinking about GOD and about yourself, it is imperative that you determine to take time to spend with learning about the blessings and abilities GOD has already given you.
Jeremiah stated (in Jeremiah 29:11) that GOD plans to give us a future filled with goodness, well-being, and hope. Even though this was prophesied to the Israelites in that day, it still holds true for us today. Therefore, it is high time for each of us to adore and to trust our Eternal GOD (Father, Son, HolySpirit) Who, essentially, shares His Divinity with us, which is filled with the plans spoken about in Jeremiah 29 and is recorded II Peter 1:2-4.
Seriously, Beloved, take a long intentional look at GOD Who loves us so completely that He gives us the ability, and He guides us to be like Him! Isn’t that an empowering thought? Because of Jesus Christ’s victory over sin transposing our sinful natures from us, allowing it to be placed on Himself! And, in so doing, He made us righteous and ready to share in His divine nature! On some level, that thought is mind-blowing and serves to guide us to more and more open-mindedness to love and to seek GOD on a daily basis. What ‘chu think? Do you agree?
Yes, there’s a known fact that is primarily experienced every day by people of color: the world puts various obstructions in our way so as to deter us from acquiring the goodness and the prosperity that is due us. Okay, so we intrinsically know that to be true based on personal experiences and constant news reports from across the U. S. and the entire world. But, do we give up and give in because we think ours is a hopeless case? GOD forbid such thinking! He promised hope, welfare, and prosperity to Israel, Judah, and to us (see Jeremiah 33:6-9)! Hallelujah!
Do you see it? Are you getting a clearer picture of who you are in the Eyes of our Everlasting, All-Knowing, Present Everywhere, True-to-His-Word GOD? His desire is for us to let go of those self-limiting and self-degrading thoughts and emotions that serve to keep us from living in His Hope and great Promises. What ‘chu think?
Oh, Loving and Protecting Daddy, thank You for your Patience and Goodness toward us. You are so patient with us as You guide us into a deeper awareness of Who You Are and who You’ve called us to be. With Your help, we’re letting go of negativity.
