During December, we are focusing on the concept of ‘Rejoice’. Leadership describes rejoice as follows: “To rejoice in the Lord, understanding that He Is responsible for all we have accomplished or achieved.” The Scriptural reference is Psalm 100:

Lord is God! It is He Who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]! We are His people

Another writer’s perspective on Jesus Christ’s teachings states: “Men tend to multiply duties in

Rejoice in like fashion: re=’go back’, joice=’great joy’ – Go back to that great joy! During the main Session of our Ladies Day, Sister Aerial Ellis guided our minds to CELEBRATE! Celebration shows forth a sense of rejoicing. Both ladies reminded us that we, all, are created in GOD’s Image. From that reminder we were guided to be joyfully grateful because of the power/gifts/abilities given us by GOD. Such giftedness/power, with which He endowed us, serves to radiate GOD’s Presence in us, and to empower the world around us that they may learn to live in joy/faith/love. To sum it up, we have Live-able Joy within our spiritual/mental/inner reach ready to burst forth from us to the many people around us! The writer of Deuteronomy 6:5 says we can get the proverbial ball rolling in this manner: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being] (Deuteronomy 6:5 AMP).” Jesus spoke the same as recorded in the New Testament Gospel Books. And, to cap it off, Jesus taught that His followers carry His Light, and are to live in the following manner: “… Let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father (Matthew 5:16 NLT).”
