FRESH DEW Get Ready, GOD’s Doing a New Thing! By Sis. Ricki Fuller With Ricky Dillard’s song, One More Chance, still reverberating in our minds, we are invited to remember to regularly thank GOD. Continually thanking GOD helps His people to worry less than we usually do/would about the many events/experiences that are

presented in our lives.
As another matter of reference, Isaac Carree’s song entitled ‘In the Middle’ encourages/advises the listeners to remember Who their true source is regardless of their circumstances/situations in life. Check it out: “Tears running down your face, And your heart feelin' like it's gon' break And your earth feel like it's 'bout to shake, And you've taken all that you can take; Just remember where your help comes from; Realizing you got somewhere to run; Don't worry 'bout what you're going through; Instead of worrying, here's what you can do - Praise him anyway - In the middle of it. Lord, it was You that helped me understand; And it was You that never let go of my hand; I promise that I'll always give You praise; No matter what this world brings my way; I'll praise you anyway; In the middle of it… I'm gonna lift my hands… do my dance… shout for joy… In the middle of it.” That, in itself, is true ‘resetting’ in that it guides us to focus/refocus on GOD’s Sovereignty and Supreme Wisdom as He orchestrates events in each of His Children’s lives. AbbaFather compassionately doles out encouragement as we go through the many events of living in this fast-paced world. Plus, in this technological era, communications are so advanced/speedy that it seems we allow ourselves to be periodically influenced/misguided/confused on emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual fronts. Thus, we become so blinded that we lose sight/focus on our GOD/Savior. Yet, thank Jesus Who tells us: “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved… The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd.” (John 10:9-11 ESV) Hence, we can develop/practice measures in our lives whereby we pray, asking GOD to “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10 AMP). That simple prayer allows us to refocus in the middle of our daily/weekly/monthly/yearly lives which, in turn, grants GOD permission from us to guide/reset our paths (see Psalms 31:3 & 73:24). Recognizing the awesome Love GOD has for us allows us to joyfully “make room for GOD’s resetting of our lives for our good and His greater glory.” So, let’s end with the thought Tasha Cobb Leonard sings: “I’m Getting Ready” and “God’s About Do It” - “Eyes haven't seen…And ears haven't heard…The kind of blessing…That's about to fall on me… 'Cause victory is here…Kicked defeat out the door… God's doing a new thing… Get ready for overflow…I'm getting ready to see…Something I've never seen…” Thank You, Lord, for the newness/goodness You give us!
