“Sometimes
leadership is planting trees
under whose shade you’ll never sit.” — Former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm
A NOTE TO OUR STUDENT HONOREES
Keith Kelly, a 1980 agricultural economics graduate of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, was to be the speaker at our Awards Recognition ceremony. In lieu of that appearance, Mr. Kelly has generously donated copies of the book “Born to Win,” by Zig Ziglar, which will be mailed to all of the college’s honorees with a personal letter of encouragement. Mr. Kelly is president and chief executive officer of Kelly Products Inc., a successful agricultural holding company for 12 operating agribusinesses, including Farmview Market in Madison, Georgia, and Rock House Creamery in Madison County, Georgia.
