Steve Murphy
Our Volunteers have racked up a massive 2,000 + hours of their time, skills and expertise over the past 6 months and we are constantly ‘blown away’ by the dedication, generosity, professionalism, and care displayed by them every week. These amazing ladies and gents show up for every rostered-on event – before time, prepared, engaged and motivated.
• Week after week you’ll find either
Krusty, Jeff, Rob and Peter in the
Sailing Tower for the Inshore
Divisional Racing on a Wednesday night’s “taking care of business” with
Scribing and Race Management. • There’s the Lovely Lori our dedicated
Paparazzi ….rugged up on the water taking photos, video’s and calling
Sail Numbers in the dark and cold
supporting the Race Committee and undertaking Support Boat duties at the same time! • Then there’s Phil - (Krusty), Jeff and Reece - the ‘cool and calm’
Race Officers, with their expert and exceptional management skills in operations and multi-tasking – here’ every week performing their duties like Champions. • The ‘Quiet Achievers’ Race Officers
Noel and John who never miss a week – looking after our Thursday
Twilighters • Our on Water Support Boat Heroes – Mike (Grumpy), Peter, Glen, Greg,
Darryl, Michael to name just a few, who’s on water knowledge, skippering and the requirements involved is commendable and admirable. • Ben Downey - who’s always up to help and be a part of special events from
BBQ Master to ‘Sip n Sail’ Interviewer
Extraordinaire. • Our Divisional Competitors like Addy,
Emma and Kelvin, who continually pop their hands up to help whenever and wherever they can in all areas. • Our Divisional Reps – Ross, Peter,
Johnathan, Grace and Dave who provide not only their time in coordinating the Divisions, but their expertise in Sailing both on and off water. • A special mention to our other
Volunteers and our Special Event
