Associates Committee - Jan Benson

It’s lovely to see our Club members starting to return to the Club again. Let us hope it is an ongoing thing and we don’t have any setbacks. I must also say the Club is looking great with its different areas.

The Associates Committee recently had its AGM. Elected positions are as follows: President Jan Benson Vice President Lois Rowe 2nd Vice President Lynette Johnston Treasurer Carmel Nicholas Secretary Natalie Dugdale

We are goingto run an online raffle in August. It will be like a mini mega raffle running for 3 weeks. Prizes will include: Nth Stradbroke Island Resort 2 night stay. Valued at $340 Mount Warning Tweed River cruise. Valued at $238 The Pilates Method Private Lesson. Valued at $170 Super Butcher $50 Voucher Pete’s Seafood $50 Voucher SYC Waterfront $50 Dining Voucher We are hoping members will be as supportive as ever. This is our first online raffle so it would be great boost for us if it is a success. As you all know, we haven’t been able to run our weekly raffles since March and members are certainly missing them. We are working to get back to regular weekly raffles as soon as possible. We will also be launching our Christmas Mega Raffle in October. It may be online or at the Club depending on the situation at the time. Wehavea prize pool of$2,538 forthisraffle. It will be drawn on at the Club’s Christmas Carols event in December. Finally, we are still hoping to have our Melbourne Cup Lunch in November and we are actively planning to make it as entertaining as possible.
