Next was Jim Quinn, the principal at South End School who was there on behalf of the school’s administration. “It’s my great privilege to say thank you,” Quinn said. “Thank you for all that you’ve provided to our children and our schools.” Town councilors Mike Riccio and Tom Lombardi also came to say their goodbyes. “We’re both here to say thank you,” Riccio, the council chairman said. “It’s an honor to be here this evening.
