one-woman show is aiming to make people from all over Connecticut feel beautiful, one person at a time. Donna D’Avvento is the owner and hair stylist for Salon D’Avvento located at 92 Center St. She specializes in bridal looks and makeovers; from the cut, to the blow dry, color and even makeup, D’Avvento does it all on her own while still taking care of her daughter. Anyone can obtain a license to cut hair, but not
everyone has the talent and passion for it, she said. While most stylists just get people in and out, D’Avvento said she always takes time for her clients to make sure they leave looking their best. “I don’t work by the clock,” D’Avvento said. “I give each person individual attention and I’ll go as long as the client’s look takes. People always need to allow themselves time.” It isn’t just how attentive
