“These are all guys that I look up to and two of them are like my favorite rappers, too,” Devin said. “So it was a great experience.” Devin said he has been soaking up as much of the experience as he can and trying to take advantage of every opportunity, like chasing down MTV at one of the shows to get an interview. “When we saw MTV, my manager immediately ran over to them and told them the whole situation and I got my first interview with MTV,” he said. “That was a big accomplishment.” Manager Jared Glassman

met Devin through a mutual friend while attending Northeastern University. He said he listened to a few of Devin’s tracks and made an offer, from there is was just a matter of getting work done. “[Devin] is one of the most, if not the most, diverse artists I know,” Glassman said. “He can make any song in any genre he gets on sound amazing. From there, he put together a management team and started stringing songs together. While on tour, Devin said they have a studio on the bus where he has been recording a new album, the single of which he said has already been sent out to the radio stations. Life on the road can be hec-

tic, and Devin said it can wear a person down, but motivation is not hard to come across with such big dreams finally being realized. “It is stressful because I do miss my family and friends, but at the same time this is something I always wanted to do,” he said. “So I put that behind and just focus on what I’m doing right now.” Devin said most of the inspiration for his music comes from life experiences like going through high school and just having fun. As for his stage name, Devin explained that being 6’2”
