THE EVENT: On Saturday, August 1, The Country Club of Columbus celebrated its 100th anniversary with a black-tie Centennial Gala. THE HIGHLIGHT: Guests enjoyed an evening of gourmet dining and dancing with the band, Big Swing and the Ballroom Blasters. A fabulous cake was designed by Becky White of White Icing Bakery. Cutting the cake was William B. Turner, the attending guest who has been a member of the CCC the longest. Also in attendance and making special presentations to the Country Club of Columbus commemorating 100 years were representatives from the United States Golf Association and the United States Tennis Association.
