LEAP INTO HIGHER LEVEL STUDY Don’t think a Higher Education qualification is for you? Think again!

What’s more, after completing a Foundation Degree or a HND at SRC, you can then progress to university to complete the final year of your study. In fact, in some areas, you can complete your full degree at Southern Regional College!

Research has shown that those students who progress from school to further and higher education will greatly expand upon their range of job and career opportunities. This is more evident now in today’s economic climate than in previous generations.

Many of our higher level courses are validated by universities and we work closely with our partner universities (Dundalk Institute of Technology, Liverpool John Moores University, Queen’s University Belfast, The Open University and Ulster University) to broaden and enhance student opportunities. So if you think that you have to go away to university to get a degree then you might be surprised to learn that SRC can offer you high quality teaching in a more supportive environment but closer to home.

It takes time to build a successful career and for those seeking to kick-start their career prospects, studying a Higher Education course at Southern Regional College is a great option to consider, giving you the freedom to pursue a career that inspires and interests you. Southern Regional College is proud to offer one of the largest ranges of Higher Education programmes within a Further Education setting locally. Studying at a higher level (up to degree level) at college is a great way to further your studies whether you are returning to study, progressing from school or studying alongside work – and is extremely cost-effective! Did you know that you could be saving thousands of pounds by choosing to study your higher level course at SRC rather than at university?

Our courses have much smaller class sizes than traditional university courses, this means that the support you receive is exceptional, with detailed and timely feedback allowing you to improve and excel. It is important to us that you develop and progress in your chosen industry, that is why our courses are designed with technical skills and employability at the heart of them. All our Higher Education courses have great links with employers to enable you to apply what you have learnt in the classroom to the real world.

Welcome Mr Brian Doran Principal & Chief Executive Southern Regional College
