Weekly Walk – Ice Age trail

• University of Wisconsin at Whitewater graduation will announce an alternate celebration for the Spring 2020 Commencement.

Every Wednesday of the year, 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. We hike every Wednesday from dramatic wooded hills to expansive rolling prairies; the scenic 26mile Ice Age Trail in the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest is an experience in contrasts at any time of year. We split up into two groups: short hiker 3 miles, long hikers 6-8 miles. Info: www.iceagetrail.org, search for Walworth-Jefferson County.

15 and 16 – Citywide Rummage Sale

JUNE 6 National Trails Day – Discover local trails, become active concerning trail issues and share the excitement for the outdoors with free access to all National parks and trails. Info: www.iceagetrail.org 6 and 7 – Wisconsin Free Weekend. Free fishing on all state lakes and streams; licenses are not required and free access is granted to state parks and DNR properties. No parking license sticker required. 7 – Whitewater High School graduation 21 – Food Truck Rally, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Features a variety of local food truck vendors. Bring the family and enjoy delicious local foods while helping raise funds for Irvin L. Young Memorial Library 23 – Grand Opening of the Cravath Lakefront Amphitheater will be rescheduled later this summer. Info: www.wwparks.org

JULY 3 to 5 – Fourth of July Festival. Celebrate our Freedom and Independence with families, friends and community. Lakefront festival offers many scheduled events for your entertainment and plenty of great food and music. Info: whitewater4th.com
