It was pleasing especially after losing to the league leaders Bicester Hallions the week before. I felt after losing against the league leaders Bicester that it really ignited us as a group. It was a tough week. We almost had to forfeit the fixture as we didn’t have enough players to play but I think for me it’s a turning point. It sums up the kind of players we have at this club. Players that will never give up and run through brick walls for one another. Let’s not forget we don’t get paid and we play for the love of the game. Last game against Coventry Copsewood in the Telegraph was, for me, the best team performance so far this season. We went into the game as most definitely the underdogs.
