Today Southam United welcomes Marston Saints to Bobby Hancocks Park for their first meeting of the season. The teams were meant to play in the first match of the season, but due to Covid issues Marston needed to postpone the match to today’s date. Both teams will be eager to pick up points as they make up their game in hand. Marston, currently sitting last in the league table, will be looking for their first win of the season and a jumping off point for starting this next phase of their season. The Oxfordshire side found themselves in top position in the table after 10 matches last autumn, as well as finding success in 2019/20 when they finished second in the table before pandemic restrictions halted play. Marston will be without last season’s leading goal scorer Nick Thorne, who tallied 10 goals in 10 apperances, as well as management team Matty Jacob and Luke Cuff. They will instead rely on current leading goal scorer, Liam Powell, who has netted 3 times in 6 matches for the Saints.

Please do not use the existing entrance off Banbury Rd to park
