together this fantastic programme for adult learners. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality tours and sessions that are led by experts passionate about sharing Southampton’s heritage and culture in an engaging and accessible way. A stone’s throw from shops, restaurants, theatres and bars, there’s plenty of choice close by if planning other activities alongside a visit to our venues.
Hands-on History and Arts and Crafts Workshops Affordable, relaxed and fun; find out more about the art and history housed within our unique settings by taking part in a hands-on workshop. Our classes are led by professional local artists and historians who provide fantastic learning opportunities to develop skills. From practical 2D & 3D workshops exploring art techniques through to artefact-handling and archaeology, we’re sure to have something on offer to meet your needs.
Higher and Further Education Expand your students’ knowledge of arts and heritage through a visit to one of our cultural venues. We can offer bespoke sessions tailored to your area of study. Our venues are also great places to encourage independent investigation and research skills.

Booking information Activity costs start from as little as ÂŁ60 per group. Additional entrance charges apply to SeaCity Museum and Tudor House & Garden. City Art Gallery entrance is free of charge. SeaCity Museum SeaCity Museum tells the story of the people of Southampton and the Titanic. The museum is based at the heart of the city and contains two permanent exhibitions as well as a temporary exhibitions space. Visit SeaCity Museum and discover how we bring maritime history to life. Southampton City Art Gallery Opened in April 1939 within Southampton’s Civic Centre, City Art Gallery offers high quality exhibitions ranging from painting, sculpture and drawing to photography and film. Internationally renowned for its permanent collection and host to a programme of temporary exhibitions, displays change regularly to ensure new experiences with each visit. Tudor House & Garden Tudor House reveals over 800 years of history in one fascinating location at the heart of the Historic Old Town. Built in the late 15th Century, the museum gives a unique and atmospheric insight into the lives and times of its residents through the years. Visit the beautiful walled Tudor garden and enjoy a cream tea.
