Today, using online document sharing websites has become a very common practice among the businesses or organizations willing capture more attention from the targeted audience. Most of the internet marketers document sharing online sites available for free for PDF document sharing, confidential business document sharing or to share presentations online with client prospects. However, being an internet marketer or businessman, it is possible that you may have faced the situation when online PowerPoint presentations published by you doesn’t perform well or even ignored by the targeted users. Using document sharing websites for sharing slides or PDF files is not at all a bad and can help you get desired results if you keep in mind a few simple but basic do’s and don’ts associated with online slide presentations.

Do’s: 

Do try to keep in mind 5/5/5 rule! Online users or readers are always in a hurry and if you try to make them read something that consume more time; it will be simply ignored by them. Make sure you keep the text on each side. A few experts suggest incorporating 5/5/5 rule, which means 5 words per line, 5 lines per slides or 5 text-based slides in a row!

Do try to incorporate readable fonts and colors. When you share presentation online, make sure the text included within the presentation is easily readable. Always go for large and simple fonts. Moreover, choose a dark background as it would be easy to use contrasting text colors to highlight the text and make it viewable. Or you can go for dark text on light background!

Do try to include animation sparingly.
