2022 Mentee of the Year

When I first came to Son of a Saint, I wasn’t sure how I would like it and wasn’t open minded about the experience. After warming up to it, my experience at Son of a Saint has become one of the best things I’ve been a part of, and this brotherhood and support system of people helping me has been incredibly valuable. Over the past year, I’ve been able to make connections with my fellow mentees and the staff. Whether it’s been through weekly activities , community service events, or just hanging out and having fun, I’ve felt like I’m part of something truly special.

I am very grateful for the friendships and experiences I’ve gained at Son of a Saint. It’s like a second home and a place where I feel safe and welcomed. I’ve had the opportunity to go New York, to travel as a part of the basketball team, and to attend camp in Georgia. There’s always something to do at Son of a Saint. I was also honored to be named 2022 Mentee of the Year, especially after only my first year being part of the organization. I can’t wait to see what else Son of a Saint has in store in the future and I will happily continue to be with this family.
