WATCH OUT, THERE’S A THIEF ABOUT ON THE PLAYA
Over the last six weeks or so - unfortunately it has been months in some cases - quite a lot of plants (some in pots, some in the ground), herbs (used for various cocktails), a few coloured light bulbs (the screw-in type, costing around €9 each) and several other small items, have been stolen from the forecourts of bars/restaurants, set along Mojacar Playa, especially from premises on the 500m stretch, heading outwards, along the right side of the main road towards the Indalo Hotel. All these thefts seem to have taken place during the early part of the morning, perhaps between 5am and 8am; certainly before some places Hugo Formerly of Cafe Bar International have opened up for business.
