LTOs: Boosting Traffic and Sales
Fall foods and flavors—apples, Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, turkey and warm spices—capture attention like no other season! This promotion cycle’s menu is packed with new, on-trend dishes like Mindful’s Thai Red Curry Peanut Soup and Greek Portobello Gyro, as well as Love of Food’s Blackened Chicken & Sweet Potato Biscuit Sliders and Irish Salmon Colcannon Bowl. The wide range of culinary styles, ingredients and global influences will draw guests to your café.
There’s a definite buzz building over the five winning dishes in the Cheetos® Flamin’ Hot® contest, featured from September to November in the Love of Food lineup. Get in on all the fun by reading about the contest in this cycle’s Implementation Guide and by promoting these winning dishes at your location.

SEPTEMBER
Our café guests continue to expand their culinary curiosity, so the Mindful Hero lineup is celebrating today’s trending flavor profiles—like al pastor, chili crisp and spicy chipotle. Two Flamin’ Hot contest winners highlight the Love of Food menu, with flavors that are “on fire!”
OCTOBER
With quality ingredients and grab-and-go convenience, Simply to Go meets demand for the best meals, salads and snacks when guests are pressed for time. From sliders to bowls to sweet shots, these tasty and indulgent offerings are exactly what guests are looking for at this very moment.
NOVEMBER
Mindful and Love of Food deliver for everyone in November, balancing adventure with comfort and local flavors with regional trends. Intriguing new dishes like Honey-Glazed Apple Oatmeal and Citrus & Fennel Wedge Salad keeps the menu exciting through all dayparts.
DECEMBER
The talented chefs at Love of Food know what guests love and these creative offerings will surely entice everyone, from students to seniors, to the café. Always sample new dishes with your team so they can share their first-hand experiences with guests.

The Power of LTOs
LTOs (Limited Time Offers) bring excitement to your café and make it easy to spice up a menu with variety and on-trend tastes. These innovative menu offerings generate guest interest and frequency, resulting in higher sales, profitability and check average. In simplest terms, they’re a big deal.
Our guests are at the heart of every LTO offering, which is why we’re always reviewing trends and consumer insights. Everything in the promotions series is guest-centric and every decision is based on a guest’s motivations and key drivers. Culinary development always starts with data: research from Datassential® and other sources, research from our vendor partners and our own sales reports. With this information, we can identify movements, trends and ingredients to develop LTOs that entice and attract guests— and keep them coming back again and again.
LTOs AND MENU SERVICE PLANS
If you don’t have access to the Promotion Menu Service Plans, you must request a MSP through the site request portal on MySodexo.com. If you do not see the MSP as a choice in the MSP drop-down, select “Other,” and a blank box will appear to manually enter the MSP name. Be sure to enter your DM as your Approver 2 (or the request will be rejected). Any questions or concerns about using the portal, contact FoodSystemsSupport.USA@sodexo.com for support.
For Fall promotions, be sure to search: PROMO Mutualized Promotions Fall 2025 Retail.
Gathering and Measuring Guest Data
During the LTO development process, we rely on information from varied sources.
DATASSENTIAL
We use Datassential menu trends and menu adoption cycles to begin development. The menu adoption cycles show us ingredient trends from inception to ubiquity which allow us to understand fastest growing menu ingredients.
CONSUMER VILLAGE
This community is made up of thousands of consumers who shop at cafés like ours. We talk with them about everything food-related, including foods they’d like to experience, feedback on our products and recipes, and much more. Their direct input is shared and incorporated into every aspect of the development and execution of promotions.
INFOR
Our enterprise POS system gives us the power to capture and analyze millions of guest data points and to help guide strategic discussions with clients. We use real-time, real guest, transaction data to understand your guests as individuals, and create products and solutions that they want to experience.
Together, these unique tools and processes enable us to better understand the guest as an individual and capitalize on our insight to create solutions.

Implementation Guide
For Fall 2025, months September through December are presented in a single Implementation Guide with easy navigation through the pages. You’ll find detailed information about the exciting limited-time offers and products lined up for the cycle.
