WELCOME TO THE WOODS

Whether you’re interested in academic challenge, Greek life, theatre, faith, careers and leadership, diversity and social issues, Owls athletics – or a little bit of everything – you’ll find like-minded students and a caring community to support you.
I fell in love with WWU because it gave me countless opportunities to develop myself as a student, member of the campus community, and build meaningful relationships with my peers and professors.

THE WOODS DIFFERENCE
The university experience is about stretching yourself. Get out of your comfort zone. Meet people from around the world. Take a class you never thought you’d enjoy – and find your future.
At William Woods, we go beyond the classroom to ensure you have what you need to flourish and thrive. We offer the spaces, amenities, co-curricular programs, and hands-on learning you’d expect from a larger institution while continuing to treat every student as a unique person.
GRADUATE BRIDGE PROGRAM
With the Graduate Bridge Program, students add one year of study to their degree plan and graduate with a WWU master’s degree. There are many options in business, leadership, public health, and education for those driven to excel and eager to make a difference. We also support graduate school planning with pre-professional pathways in the sciences, exercise sciences and pre-med/pre-vet.
WOODS AROUND THE WORLD
Study abroad and explore the world. Our Woods Around the World program is a unique approach to education that takes you outside the classroom and into another culture. Our students have journeyed to every corner of the globe; we’ll work with you to ensure you can too.
HONORS PROGRAM
Challenge yourself with a selective program that includes a scholarship for dedicated, imaginative students who love to learn. Live, study and experience new academic adventures alongside like-minded students in a supportive community.
ACADEMIC AMENITIES
At WWU, we make sure you have the resources to fully explore your program of study. Our Center for Human Performance, Cox Art Gallery, studio spaces, model courtroom, MAC and film labs, cybersecurity testing center, and Center for Equine Medicine are just some examples of the top-notch facilities and amenities that help students learn here.
IVY SCHOLORS
We want to give you a jump start on college. For first-time-in-college students, the Ivy Scholars precollege summer program offers preparation for college life and academics while earning college credit. Get to know current student mentors and future classmates before the “big move”.
