Health, Style, & Strength: STHS Patients Rock the Runway

From deciding to undergo weight-loss surgery to losing the excess weight post-procedure, the South Texas Health System Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery Center helps patients every step of the way, offering help, guidance, and support.

In March, STHS celebrated five bariatric patients who have thrived post-surgery at its third annual Transformation Celebration Fashion Show.

This year’s models included Maxine Aguirre, Heidi Stream, Rocio Garcia, Rachel Rodriguez, and Phylisia Tamayo, who've all transformed their lives following weight-loss surgery by committing to maintaining a healthy weight with diet and exercise.
