Shell Yeah! Sea Turtle Inc. opens world’s largest enclosed sea turtle hospital

Sea Turtle, Inc. celebrated the grand opening of its new Sea Turtle Hospital on March 1, 2025, on South Padre Island, Texas. As the world’s largest fully enclosed sea turtle hospital, the facility features advanced medical equipment, rescued turtle patients, and a dedicated sea turtle research center. Guests toured the hospital and learned about groundbreaking care and conservation efforts.
