Teach For America RGV Shines Bright

On April 4th, education champions gathered for Teach For America Rio Grande Valley’s 2025 Honor Roll Gala to celebrate the impact of corps member teachers, alumni, and Ignite tutors. The event honored Dr. Annabelle Palomo, Region One ESC, and Pablo Mejia for their dedication to education. Attendees rallied support to ensure all students graduate from high school, college and career-ready. Proceeds fuel a local network of 300+ leaders, supporting teacher recruitment, the Ignite tutoring program, professional development, and strong district partnerships to advance educational opportunity across the region.
