Our Legacy
In 2008, Vidya Vikas Universal College opened its doors to 151 students with three B.Com., B.M.S., and B.A.M.M.C. departments. Since then, student enrollment has expanded by more than twentyfold and an Internal Quality Assurance Cell, as per NAAC guidelines
In addition, our college has been granted a Gujarati Linguistic Minority Status, which allows it to accept Gujarati-speaking students under Mumbai University's Minority Quota policy.
We believe education should prepare students beyond academics. Our graduates should not only be well-versed in their academic field but also have the skills required to succeed in life and their careers after graduation. Our Students' Council is a dynamic, motivated group of degree college students who play a significant role in all college activities. They are a key support system to our college administration. Lately, our B.A.M.M.C. department organised a visit to the National Museum of Indian Cinema, and the B.M.S. department had visited prominent industries such as Bisleri Productions, National Dairy, and Man Foods Pvt. Ltd. as a part of their academic curriculum

Women's Development Cell
Our Women's Development Cell (WDC) aims to build gender equality and promote gender sensitisation among students. To create awareness of issues that women face academically and professionally. The cell actively works towards women ' s empowerment. It conducts self-defence workshops, guest lectures and seminars. It also runs a Grievance Cell to deal with gender-related issues of both staff and students alike.
Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension
We are committed to the cause of lifelong learning. Our department of Lifelong Learning, in collaboration with the NSS Unit & Cultural Association of VVUC, has organised several seminars & competitions
A recent webinar on research design and methodology with Dr. Jaya Manglani, Assistant Professor, H R College of Commerce and Economics and M Phil. and Ph D. Guide, University of Mumbai, saw over 100 faculty and students attend.
Our department has also organised a Self Defense Training for all the girl students of the college, and a webinar about sleeping habits, daily fitness routine and fireless cooking.
Karmaah
Imagine coming together as humans and as a society to be a part of something bigger. Karmaah, our intercollegiate event on social harmony, strives to do just that. The Karmaah team has been hard at work, making the act of community-building both important and more accessible to our students by creating an event that focuses on societal themes including justice, inclusion, rights, etc.
This year, the theme was Atithi Devo Bhava, Padharo Mhare Des. This fest was organised on the occasion of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, dated 9th January 2023. The college witnessed the most brilliant performances such as dance, fashion show, Mr & Ms. Karmah, candid photography, literary events, street plays & many more.

Step 3
After submitting the pre-admission form, the application will be reviewed by the admission department
Forms that are incomplete or incorrectly filled out will be rejected
The merit list will include all forms that have been verified and approved; it will be put up on the college notice board and website
Step 4
You will receive an SMS and email regarding the admission process, fee details, and payment procedure after selection
You must pay your fees and get the requisite documents physically verified within the specified timeframe to secure your admission.
If you do not pay your fees by the declared deadline, your seat will be forfeited.
