Soar Valley Life Just Great Music!

From a Distance ...the world looks blue and green, the snow capped mountains white. The ocean meets the stream... These words come from the beginning of one of the most beau ful, meaningful and best selling ballads of all me. It was wri en by Julie Gold in 1985 and made famous by Be e Midler in 1991. Last Sunday I heard of the passing of someone from my past. He and I had shared some astounding learning together about a decade ago. We had kept in touch via Facebook, but never really seeing or feeling how we each were—only that we were both s ll here if we bothered to look. I have borrowed his Facebook profile photo for the picture on this page. For me it is an image that evokes a powerful possibility—seeing the Earth in a drop of water. A er we first met, he had made his way in life as a Life Coach; and looking at the outpouring of emo on that has flowed on his Facebook page since his death, he was a very successful one who had touched and changed the lives of hundreds of people. I have felt sadness at his death and have had to ques on the emo ons I have felt, trying to put them into context in the middle of this global crisis where so many, many tragedies with effects on those close, far worse than mine, are being faced every minute of every day. Each a ernoon at the government briefing there is news of hundreds more that have died in our country alone, and thousands more throughout the world. The ministers and experts at the briefing each day try their utmost to be sincere and hear elt in their messages of condolence to all the bereaved families and loved ones of those who have lost their fight. Of course, they cannot really know absolutely what it feels like, from a distance. None of us can. We can imagine, from our own experience of tragedies that have affected our lives, some of what each of those will be feeling. If you have lost a mum, a dad, a child, a partner, a close friend then you will remember what this grief feels like. Depending how long ago your experience was, your grief will have changed and you will have moved on, taken a different perspec ve and, in some sense, those wounds will have healed and the emo ons will have moved away ‐ not lost, but as if viewed from a distance. There have been many references to the last World War in what is happening in the world today; how the spirit of helping one another has come to the fore and celebra ng and thanking those on the front line

of the conflict. Some of this has been suggested, even manipulated perhaps, by the powers that be or those that have a vested interest, but overwhelmingly most of the collec ve helping each and all of our fellows is en rely natural; deep down it’s to be expected. And it’s not just a Bri sh thing, it really is a human thing. I read an ar cle this week that a student at an anthropologist’s lecture had wri en. A ques on asked of the professor was, “What was the earliest sign of human society in history— the proof that made us different from all other species. Was it the discovery of tools, fish hooks, clay pots or grinding stones?” “No,“ said the professor and she showed them a photo of a healed broken human femur from an archaeological discovery that dated the bones to thousands of years BC. The professor con nued, “If an animal breaks its leg, in the wild, it will die. It cannot run, hide, feed. It is meat for prowling beasts. It cannot survive long enough for the bone to heal. A broken femur that has healed is evidence that someone has taken me to stay with the one who fell, has bound up the wound, has carried the person to safety and has tended the person through recovery. Helping someone else through difficulty is where civiliza on starts.” I think we are hard wired to help each other and, if there’s to be any lessons learned from this pandemic, it could be this: the insight to remember what makes us different and keep on prac sing just that. We are at our best when we serve others. Be civilised. “From a distance there is harmony And it echoes through the land It’s the voice of hope, it’s the voice of peace It’s the voice of every man.”

Protecting Your Family Inheritance Most people hope that their estate will pass on to their children and grandchildren eventually. But this will not happen for many, unless careful arrangements have been made to protect their assets from being taken towards the end of their life to pay for care home fees. The solution to help protect your estate is a Will incorporating a Property Protection Trust (PPT). A testamentary PPT can only be executed whilst both partners remain alive. Upon death of the first partner, their Will specifies that their share of the property is placed into trust and names the ultimate beneficiary of this share, normally the children and grandchildren of

the deceased. The surviving partner, under the terms of the trust, has the unequivocal right to remain living in the property for the rest of their life. On the death of the second partner the Trust comes to an end and the property passes to the beneficiaries. As the surviving partner does not own the deceased’s share of the property it is fully protected for the beneficiaries, so if the surviving partner requires care, or even remarries, this share of the children’s inheritance is protected. This last point can be particular interest to

couples who have come together and have children with different partners. A PPT can help each person in a relationship ensuring that their children inherit their share of the property, while giving their surviving partner the ability to live in the property for the rest of their life. If the surviving partner wants to move to another property, they can still sell the property and the proceeds to be used to purchase a new property, the terms of the Trust remain over the new property.

What Help is there for Businesses? Just Great Music!

Many business owners are walking a ghtrope today due to the coronavirus outbreak. Lockdown has meant we are all in unchartered waters but what help is available to you right now? Employers If your business has been affected by Covid‐19 you can furlough your employees and apply for a grant through the Coronavirus Job Reten on Scheme. • The government will cover 80% of wage costs up to a maximum of £2500 a month through CJRS plus na onal insurance and minimum employer pension contribu ons • You must have included your employees on your payroll and submi ed an RTI to HMRC before 19th March 2020 • Your employee cannot work for your business during this me and must be furloughed for a minimum of 3 weeks • Employees can con nue with training whilst on furlough but must be paid at least NMW • The HMRC portal for employers to claim under the Corona virus job reten on scheme has been up and running since 20th April and grants are being paid in 6 working days; so far we have submi ed CJRS claims in the region of £100k to help our employer clients • Be aware, employees on furlough will s ll accrue holiday and they can carry over up to 4 weeks’ holiday into their next 2 holiday leave years if it has not been possible for them to take all their en tlement due to the coronavirus Self Employed Many self‐employed small business owners will have faced huge challenges with their revenue stopping as they hit the brick wall that is coronavirus. Help seemed to be very slow coming through and many will s ll not have received any help at all. To help the self employed HMRC have announced the self‐employed income support scheme, SEISS. Under the scheme self employed workers will be able to apply for taxable grants of 80% of the average trading profit over the last three years, pro rata for 3 months. • You must have filed a tax return for 2018/19 • You must earn more than 50% of your total income from self‐employment • Your average trading profit must be less than £50,000 a year • You can keep working • You can apply for the scheme and Universal Credit • You must have lost trading profits and confirm your

Page 16

business has been adversely affected due to coronavirus Limited Company Directors • You can furlough yourself, but dividend income will not be taken into considera on • If you are furloughed you cannot work for your company in any way that generates income or provides services, but you can perform statutory obliga ons as a director, e.g. official legal filings. Who will fall through the gaps? Unfortunately, not everyone is going to receive help • The newly employed – you were not on your employer’s payroll before 19th March • Those who started self‐employment a er 6th April 2019 • Self‐employed with trading profits over £50,000 • Those with self‐employment income that makes up less than 50% of their total taxable income over the 3 years What other Help is available? • Charnwood Borough Council has been brilliant at issuing Coronavirus business support grants. If your business receives Small Business Rate Relief you will be eligible for a grant of £10,000 and if you are in the retail hospitality or leisure sector and your rateable value is between £15,001 and £51,000 you will receive a grant of £25,000. Please note, these grants are treated as taxable income. Make sure you apply as soon as possible • The Coronavirus Business Interrup on Loan for small and medium sized businesses with an annual turnover of up to £45 million • Defer your July self‐assessment payment on account un l January 2021 • Any VAT payments due between 20 March and 30 June 2020 may be deferred un l 31 March 2021 but make sure you cancel your direct debit. Vat returns must s ll be submi ed on me • Payment holidays for mortgages and car finance etc are now available but you must apply for these, do not just stop your payments and remember interest will con nue to accrue • Visit www.gov.uk/business‐coronavirus‐support‐ finder to see the latest support that is available for you and your business All business owners and self‐employed people are doing what they can to survive this unprecedented me but what can you do now to ensure your business thrives on the other side?

How has Lockdown and Social-Distancing Affected my Business? I’m working from home and clients seem happy with the ‘new normal’. I have been offering exis ng and new clients mee ngs online, using Zoom or Teams. I just send them a link and they access from their end easily. For those who prefer it, we’ve been having good old-fashioned phone calls with my brochure and any paperwork being posted out to them for perusal. I’m finding that enquiries are coming my way as the lockdown has allowed people some thinking me regarding their future re rement. They are now reviewing the money they’ve built up in their pensions; seeing when, and at what level, their state pension is paid and what money they will need in re rement to cover their household bills and other required expenses. They may have been furloughed, may be self‐employed awai ng government finance at this me, or may have seen a reduc on in work available to them. It has given some people the opportunity to come to me with queries about their pension situa on and to ask that all important ques on: "Do I have enough money to re re on with the pensions I have in place?" Short Story By Jackie Brewster Just Great Music!

Ge ng in Training “Bev, I’ve got to stop for a moment.” Alison bent over gasping for air. “I’m ge ng a s tch!” It was a beau ful crisp morning – perfect, the two friends had thought, for a healthy run along the tow path. They were already regre ng this decision. “We can’t stop yet.” Bev was just as breathless. “That Lucy from the running club will catch us up and try to make us sign up for her triathlon again.” “She’s persistent, isn’t she?” Alison sighed. “I can barely manage the running bit, never mind swimming and cycling. Hold on, what’s this this up ahead?” A large mute swan was standing right in the middle of the tow path. “He’s a big boy isn’t he?” Bev said. “Whatever you do, don’t make eye contact with it.” “Why’s that?” Alison asked. “It’s just a bird.” “Haven’t you heard?” Bev frowned. “A swan can break a man’s leg.” “Don’t be da ,” Alison laughed. “He’s probably more scared of us than we are of him.” As they approached the swan stretched out its neck and hissed. Both women jumped back. “Well that’s rude,” Alison said. “Two can play at that game.” She began waving her arms at the bird. “Shoo, you big bully!” she shouted. “Get back in the water where you belong.” The swan squared up to them and opened its wings. It seemed to become almost as tall as them. “Now you’ve just made it cross,” Bev said. “Look over there in the rushes.” She pointed at a large un dy nest where five grey cygnets were playing. “It’s just trying to protect its babies.” “We’d just like to get past you Mr Swan,” Alison reasoned with the

Page 32

bird. “We mean no harm to you and your family.” The swan began angrily striding towards them. The two ladies clutched each other and screamed. “What are we going to do?” Alison whined. “I’ve got an appointment at half‐past.” Bev looked down at the clear canal water. “You know, it doesn’t look very deep here,” she said. “We could cross over to the other side.” “You’re kidding me, right?” Alison said. “You want me to climb into the canal? Do you know how much these trainers cost?” “Just take them off,” Bev said. “That’s what I’m going to do.” She sat down on the tow path and began unlacing her shoes. The swan flapped its wings and hissed menacingly. “I think he’s going to a ack.” Alison panicked and leapt into the water with a splash. Bev slid in a er her, gasping as the cold water reached up to her waist. Holding hands, the two women strode awkwardly across the slippery floor of the canal while the swan

paced up and down the bank watching them. They were halfway there when they saw Lucy running along the path. “Well this is embarrassing,” Bev said. “Do you think we should warn her?” To their amazement, without even breaking her stride, Lucy pulled a handful of breadcrumbs out of her pocket and sca ered them onto the grass verge. The swan waddled off a er them while Lucy just carried on running. Bev and Alison watched in disbelief. “Let’s hope she doesn’t see us,” Bev whispered, but standing in the middle of the canal there was nowhere to hide. “Hi, you’re keen!” Lucy waved at them. “Prac sing for the swimming part of the triathlon?” “Of course!” Alison waved back. “Why else would we be in the canal?” “That’s dedica on!” Lucy grinned, jogging on the spot. “I’ll put your names down.” “Triathlon?” Bev turned to Alison and groaned. “Looks like we’d be er get in training.”

THE TAP & RUN, Upper Broughton, wins best casual dining experience 2019

© SVL

Commen ng on the award Paul said, "Since Jack and I joined in May, we have been busy trying to grow the reputa on here for great food in a friendly, welcoming environment. Our ul mate aim is to be regarded as the best Gastro pub in the East Midlands. We feel we have built a great product here so to get judged to have done so by an independent panel is hugely gra fying"

Company director and No s cricketer Harry Gurney and his wife Avril were delighted to collect the award for Leicestershire's best casual dining experience at the Leicestershire Tourism and Hospitality awards at Athena in Leicester recently. During the evening, awards were given for various pubs, restaurants and a rac ons in the Leicestershire area and the team at The Tap & Run were delighted to collect one of the most pres gious. General manager Jack Whitehead and the team were busy serving up another sold out Tapas night at the pub, so sent Harry and Avril in their place. "We were of course delighted to win this award. I would have loved to have been there in person but it fell on one of our very popular Tapas nights and I wanted to make sure it went as

smoothy as always" said Jack Whitehead, general manager of The Tap & Run. "Maybe I'll be able to make it next year when we go to defend our crown!" he added. Also working hard at the pub that night was Paul Thacker, head chef.

"Avril and I were delighted to collect this award although we did feel rather like imposters! We only play a small part in what is a fantas c opera on at The Tap & Run. The real credit goes to every single member of the team at The Tap & Run, so this award is for them," concluded Harry Gurney, company director.

All the colours of the Rainbow Just Great Music!

Black, White, Brown then… Boom! Just before Christmas in 1968 a young entrepreneur named Stuart Westmoreland opened a new electrical products shop at number 33 Ca le Market Loughborough, adjacent to Clemerson’s Department store. The shop had been made available when Wilkinson’s hardware store moved next door. I, Steve, have to say, with the benefit of hindsight, his ming was absolutely spot on. This was the boom me age of television and at the end of the swinging six es almost every home in Britain had a television—a black and white television. BBC2’s first “full” colour test television broadcast was for the Wimbledon coverage on Saturday July 1, 1967. The launch of the BBC2 "full" colour service took place on December 2, 1967. A year later when Stuart opened his first shop, the technology had evolved, manufacturers were ramping up produc on and consumers were ready to trade up to colour TVs in numbers. But they were very expensive. The average price was around £300 plus purchase tax of about £50. That’s over £5000 in todays money! Enter TV Rentals! Stuart was quick to spot the opportunity and started his own TV rental service, and you could say he never looked back. Most of the best sellers back then are gone now ‐ names like Murphy, Bush, Ferguson, Ultra and HMV. Within two years of opening Stuart had a wai ng list of over 50 customers wan ng new colour TVs.

The business expanded into other “brown goods” (rela vely light electrical consumer durables such as TVs, radios, etc) and introduced ranges of Hi‐ Fi systems and radiograms, including the first offerings from that other young entrepreneur of the six es, a certain Mr Sugar. In those early days the Westmoreland team consisted of just four people. They were: Stuart in charge of Sales, Stuart’s wife Julie taking care of administra on, trainee salesman Andy Boughen and service engineer Keith Freeman in the service department on the first floor. Keith stayed with the company un l his re rement last year. Business boomed and they opened their second shop in Melton Mowbray in 1972. In 2001 they expanded further selling a range of white goods (heavier consumer durables such as washing machines, refrigerators, cookers etc.). They repeated this in Loughborough, opening on Leicester Road in 2010. In 2013 they combined the two shops in each town into one, transferring the TV shops to the white goods shops. Now at Leicester Road, Loughborough, you’ll find the most comprehensive range of everything electrical for the modern home. I asked about the future of the industry. Richard Westmoreland, Stuart’s son, told me, “There seems to be no end to TV development; the largest commercially available single screen is currently 98 inches, but there are now Roll‐up screens in development with poten ally unlimited size!” The mind boggles at the thought of so much screen! Whilst I was researching for this ar cle, looking for old photos of Loughborough, I discovered that Stuart’s first shop, 33 Ca le Market, is now the home of another of our regular feature writers, The Independent Traveller see pages 46 and 47.

Using a Travel Agent makes Sense You would expect a travel agent to say that travellers should use the services of a fully accredited travel agent rather than book things on line; but let’s just examine some facts and scenarios: It’s always cheaper to book direct From our experience we have found that in most cases it costs no more to book with a travel agent. Especially when you consider the benefits of the financial protec on and the advice based on experience. Am I financially protected when I book with an airline or hotel direct? No ‐ for some unknown reason airlines and hotels do not have to be financially protected in the same way as we do. You have limited protec on if you pay on a credit card but they will not help you find an alterna ve flight. We hold an ATOL which requires us to be financially sound. In the event that a supplier collapses we will help manage ge ng your money back and finding an alterna ve travel op on. 24/7 support The recent coronavirus outbreak has brought home the real benefit

of booking through a travel agent. We had clients who were going to be travelling home from Australia via Hong Kong. Having been in some remote areas they had not really become aware of the problems. We were able to re‐ route them back to the UK and get a refund on the unused hotel accommoda on. I would suggest that this would have been hard to do had you booked direct. When can I cancel a holiday due to something like the Coronavirus? For every country in the world the UK Foreign Office offers travel advice and this is acknowledged as the ‘Gold Standard’ around the world; this is freely available on www.gov.uk/foreign‐travel‐advice We would always consult that advice for any country with known issues. If your trip moves into the category of ‘Only travel on essen al business’ then a string of events takes place. All reputable tour operators will suspend trips to that loca on.

This has recently happened with China. In addi on, if you look carefully at your Insurance Travel Policy you will see that once the above is issued by the UK government your travel insurance is invalid if you travel against such advice. Trips will then be cancelled, rescheduled or rerouted in discussion with the client. What happens when no warning is issued but you may be unhappy with travel to a loca on? This is more complicated and Hong Kong is a good example. At the me of wri ng the UK Foreign Advice does not say ‘Only travel on essen al business’ although it does urge cau on. If your tour operator s ll decides it is safe to travel then any disinclina on to travel would be treated as a cancella on under the T’s & C’s of the tour operator. However, we can o en arrange to postpone the trip ll a later date. This again is something that is hard to do as an individual. Based on the above why not give us a try on your next holiday? It should cost you no more and help is easily available if needed. Call in or phone 01509 618800.

Pets By Ann Haldo Just Great Music!

Thinking of Buying a Ki en? If you’re thinking of buying a ki en, you’ll want to make sure they’re in good physical condi on and can grow into a strong and healthy cat. So how do you check their health before you bring them home? Here are three areas you can focus on.

Eyes

Ears

Healthy eyes are bright and clear with no signs of discharge or puffiness. The lining of the eyelid should be pink rather than red or white, and the area surrounding the eyeball is typically pure white. Also look out for the ‘third eyelid,’ which can appear when a cat or ki en is ill.

Look out for black marks and specks inside the ki en’s ears, as they could be ear mites. The lining of their ears should be pink and clean with no smell or discharge – excessive scratching or rubbing of the ears could signal discomfort, and that something is wrong.

Coat and skin The ki en’s coat should be glossy and smooth with no signs of dandruff or hair loss – bald patches typically indicate a health problem. A healthy ki en will usually have pink or black pigmented skin with no red patches or signs of soreness.

It’s important to check a ki en thoroughly before you buy or adopt them, and make sure the breeder/seller is reputable. Poor health manifests in various ways in ki ens, and these are just three ini al areas to focus on to make sure your poten al new pet is fit and healthy. www.purina.com.au/ki ens/ health/checklist

Health and COVID-19 As a physical therapist I have no medical authority to write about how you can prevent the spread of this illness beyond the excellent clear guidance of the PHE. I wish I could say that taking certain steps to boost your health will allay your fears about this disease. I can’t do that but I would like to list some simple steps you can follow to support your general health and immune system currently. What we put in our bodies is very important. Obvious things like increasing water intake & increasing immune boos ng Vitamin C and Vitamin D (through diet, increasing vegetable intake/oily fish/ dairy/soy & for fied cereal.) Also, cu ng down on toxic substances such as nico ne/caffeine/alcohol which may compromise the immune system and nega vely affect general mood. What we do with our bodies: although exercise is restricted, exercise where possible is very important. Vitamin D is absorbed through sunlight, the mood enhancing effects of exercise will help combat feelings of anxiety, exercise also helps with sleep. Exercise will also increase lung capacity and mobilise the diaphragms in the body which facilitate lympha c drainage and nutri on on a cellular level. Basically, exercise will boost immunity. We are very fortunate to have open green spaces all around us in Charnwood to be explored.

Because of the personal contact necessary during treatments, I am not currently seeing clients but will as soon as it is safe and reasonable to do so

Although I am closed for the foreseeable future, I am more than happy to have a chat with you about any musculoskeletal problems you have and how you can manage symptoms yourself. kirsty@angelyardosteopaths.com 01509 812119 h ps://www.onlineholis chealth.com/3-componentsof-health.html/triad-with-components/

Astronomy Just Great Music!

Sky Notes for Midsummer 2020 Brought to you by Roy Gre on, Vice Chairman and Journal Editor of The No ngham Astronomical Society. Everyone is welcome to join the Society’s monthly on line mee ngs during the Lockdown which will be aired on the internet on the first Thursday of each month from about 7.30 pm Contact details are on Soar Valley Life’s Website, or go directly to the No ngham Astronomy website: h ps://no nghamastro.org.uk/ Where we live, some 52 degrees north of the equator, the night sky doesn’t get completely dark between the third week in May and the last week of July, because throughout this period the Sun is always less than 18 degrees below the horizon, even at midnight. This is called Astronomical Twilight, and it is much longer than the more familiar Civil Twilight, the period during which it is considered light enough to work outside without the aid of ar ficial ligh ng. This ends when the sun is only six degrees below the horizon. There is yet a third category of twilight called Nau cal Twilight, during which the Sun is less than 12 degrees below the horizon, enabling the horizon to be dis nguished at sea. Of course, the last two defini ons assume ideal condi ons. Actual condi ons may vary. Thick cloud may make it too dark for outdoor work even when the Sun is less than six degrees below the horizon, and fog might obscure the marine horizon, even in broad daylight. For astronomers, the lack of true darkness between late May and late July means that we can’t see faint, fuzzy objects such as comets, nebulae and galaxies to their best advantage. Fortunately our view of brighter objects such as the Moon and planets is largely unaffected. The two planets that tend to provide the greatest enjoyment for us are the gas giants, Jupiter and Saturn. They are more distant than the inner planets, but make up for this by being much larger, and so look more impressive through a telescope. Saturn’s ring system is a wonder to behold, while the globe of Jupiter displays constantly changing cloud pa erns, including a long‐lived storm called the Great Red Spot. However, observers in the UK have had a problem in the past few years because the north pole has been lted away from these gas giants, making them very low down in our sky (but superbly placed if you live in Queensland or Rio de Janeiro, where they pass almost overhead).

Page 58

Unfortunately we shall have to wait 4 or 5 years for Jupiter to move to where it will be high in our sky, and slow‐ moving Saturn won’t be as well placed un l 2032! If you want to spot Jupiter and Saturn at present you will need to be up in the small hours a er midnight, and look toward the south below the star Altair. Jupiter will be by far the brighter of the two planets, and to the right of Saturn. Tiny Mars will be well to the le of Saturn, but a li le brighter. Meanwhile Venus, which has provided a magnificent spectacle in the evening sky this spring, will s ll be brilliant in the northwest as May begins, but therea er will dive into the sunset glow and disappear before the start of June. For observers with binoculars, there’s a comet to spot as it moves through the northern sky. Comet 2017 T2 (PANSTARRS) should be at its brightest in May as it passes the Pole Star and heads toward the Plough. As comets are notoriously difficult to predict, it may become bright enough to be seen with the naked eye, or may require a telescope or binoculars. The chart shows where the comet will be at the beginning of May and of June. The view is toward the north, where in late spring the Plough is almost overhead. Noc lucent Clouds These are pale blue filamentary clouds, formed about 50 miles above the Earth’s surface, far above the normal clouds we associate with the weather. They are normally seen from late May to July, becoming visible when illuminated by the Sun when it is well below the horizon. They are s ll poorly understood, but their “electric blue” appearance is quite dis nc ve. If you wish to see noc lucent clouds, look toward the north on a clear evening a er 10:30pm. They won’t be there every night, but sigh ngs of them are reported every summer. As well as thanking local businesses, I’d also like to thank all our key workers who are doing so much to keep us safe and helping to beat this virus. I have been heartened to see so many people clapping every Thursday at 8pm; an act of deep apprecia on to all of those who do not have a choice but to leave their homes to go to work. Finally, I’d like to men on the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Sadly, this year celebra ons have been cancelled due to social distancing rules, but we should s ll show our apprecia on of the sacrifices our country made 75 years ago. On 8th May, please could you decorate your front doors in red white and blue to show your support? Please email pictures of your decorated doors to me jane.hunt.mp@parliament.uk. In-home tui on con nues - online! Speaking with clients over the past few weeks since the summer exams were cancelled, and lockdown was introduced, it's become clear that many are finding it difficult to juggle their own essen al worker and/or homeworking commitments with the need to keep their children on track with their school work. Even in normal circumstances it's o en difficult for parents to

provide effec ve academic support for their children. It's even more challenging when all they have to fall back on is the limited amount of contact students are having with their schools at the moment. We have transi oned a number of our in‐home tui on assignments to online pla orms ‐ with support delivered by the same tutors who would normally be visi ng their students at home, and the feedback so far has been very posi ve. If you'd like to discuss how this could work for your child, please

give us a call, or email swoolley@tutordoctor.co.uk ‐ we will be happy to provide you with a short online demonstra on of the innova ve tool we are using. We are a local company, employing local tutors to help children at Key Stage 2 and 3, GCSE and A level, to be the best they can be at Maths, English, Sciences, Languages ‐ any subject. Great tutors always required. Call us on 01509 767007 to arrange your free phone or online consulta on.. www.tutordoctor.co.uk/loughborough.

THANK YOU TO ALL THE FRONT LINE WORKERS WHO ARE CARING FOR THOSE IN GREATEST NEED AND ALL THOSE BEHIND THE LINES THAT ARE PROVIDING FOR US ALL
