Combating Myths about the COVID vaccine
I’ll be right back habibi.
I am going to get my COVID vaccine!
Are you sure you want to do that habibti? I’ve heard it causes infertility and we want to have kids in the future.
I was afraid of that at first too. But there is no evidence that COVID-19 vaccines affect fertility for men or women.
Oh!
That’s good to know. But do you need to get the vaccine? You had COVID three months ago, so you already have the antibodies.
Actually, getting the COVID-19 vaccine provides added protection against COVID-19! It’s recommended to wait to get the vaccine three months after having COVID, so I’m just in time!
Okay, habibti. I know you’re doing what’s best for you. When you get home there will be some red soup waiting for you!
Wait! Is it safe to take the COVID vaccine if you have diabetes?
People with diabetes are at an increased risk for severe illness and complications from COVID-19.
Doctors highly recommend people with diabetes to get the COVID-19 vaccine to prevent severe COVID-19.
But I have to go, or I’ll be late to get my vaccine. I’ll tell you how it went later habibi!
