Arts & Crafts Clay and Ceramic Workshop for Adults

Take advantage of this creative opportunity to make art at your own pace. Clay and ceramic studio workshop will explore hand building, wheel throwing, sculptural techniques, firing, and surface finishing techniques. Play-Well’s Jedi instructors reinforce key engineering concepts such as gear trains, worm drives, pneumatics, eccentric motion and more as students tap into the powerful forces of imagination and engineering. Spring Break Nature Camp

Need a fun place for the kids over break? Let the Nature Center provide your child with fun, educational outdoor activities. Nature Center camps aim to educate while they entertain. Please register on line or at the Parks and Recreation office. You must register to attend. Children age 5 must be currently attending Kindergarten. Your child will need to bring a lunch every day and be dressed for going outdoors. You must register to attend. Please feel free to stop by the Nature Center to discuss programming details with staff. If your child has special needs please call the Nature Center at 512-393-8449 to discuss prior to enrolling. Note: there may be paperwork to fill out the first morning, please plan accordingly. Please apply sunscreen in the morning and send a refillable water bottle if desired. Label all items with your child’s name and refrain from sending additional items. Enrollment is limited to 25 kids. Cost: $125.
