Thank you for taking the time to view this catalog. It is and will continue to be our goal to produce cattle that will be extremely compet itive for our juniors but more importantly be outstanding breeding pieces after the show. This offering certainly meets those stasndards. We believe in this offering so much that the seller will be retaining the right to two viable flushes at the buyers convenience on all the females in the offering. Our sale format is done by a phone/board bid off. We will still be closing the sale in a timely manner to ensure our southern friends that the cattle will be in their hands in time for validation. Please join us October 22nd & 23rd for our open house at our new farm location in Winchester, Kentucky. We would love for you to come and view the heifers. We are giving a $250 sale credit to anyone who comes to view the cattle and purchases them through our phone bid off. Bids will close at dusk on Friday the 28th. Cattle will be available for viewing at 260 Morris Road Winchester, Ky 40391. If you are coming from I-64 take Exit 96 and go south off of the exit. Go left onto Veterans Memorial Parkway. Go to the third stoplight and turn left on 15/Ironworks Road. Approximately 1.4 miles turn left onto Morris Road and go about 1/4 of a mile. Our farm entrance is at the bottom of the hill on the left.
What a lot to start this years offereing off with! This is where Power meets Beauty. We have offered a few heifers out of the 190Y cow in our past sales, but none of them are as eye catching as this one. She will compete in the jackpots for the Top 5 all year long. Smooth, feminine, long and athletic are the words that best describe this female. Her dam, G119, is just getting started in her cow career. However, I don’t think this is the last time you will be hearing from her. Draft Pick daughters that go into the breeding pen have been known to make a big impression in those programs. Halter broke by our 6-year-old daughter, Hailey. Lot 3 has the disposition of a puppy dog. Her dam came from Brad Johnson’s program. Her dam is a ground sow that never loses her condition or milking ability. She was purchased 2 years ago and has produced two high quality females that have made the cut for our sale. The Relentless bull not only has the performance, he also stamps them with a show ready look. Her picture says it all, long, feminine, big bodied and show ring ready. Stop what you are doing and take some time to ana lyze this one. Lot 4 is a big time show heifer with the bloodlines to back her. SLGN Yes I Am 190Y sold in the Solution Genetics Herd Reduction sale to Zerr Red An gus in 2017. Since then Zerr has had a female sell out of her almost every year in our sale. 190Y is a no miss cow when it comes to mating. Her first two natural calves sold in the Red Legends Sale for $15,000 and $10,000. Then she produced a bull that was the lead off bull for Solution Genetics pen that later sold for $10,500. BREED CHANGER! Our 8-year old son, Daniel, halter broke this heifer and showed her this summer at local fairs. Everywhere she went she was catching the cattleman’s eye. We have said it over and over again, if we didn’t have to make a farm payment, we would NOT be selling this female. Lot 5 is stout, soft middled, beauti ful on the move, and she has DONOR written all over her. Her dam, American Beauty, sold as a heifer calf to Jay Anderson in Nebraska. Her first calf sold for $9500 and we put her in the donor pen. Jay flushed 354A Simmental and made some beautiful half bloods. Solution Genetics sold an ET in their herd reduction sale for $9750. We were fortunate enough to get her 3 years ago back to Kentucky. At 9-years of age she produced this beauty as a natural calf. Analyze her skeleton and see how cool this one is made from the dirt up. NEWS FLASH! American Beauty is a maternal sister to “Drama”, the dam to the Grand Champion Female at the 2022 OKC National Red Angus Show. Lot 5 is stacked with purple pedigrees and her look matches it. Lot 6 is out of a first calf heifer that was sired by Mimi, the NAILE and NWSS Champion bull, and Miss Cora 6601D, the Dixie National and Kentucky State Fair Champion Female in 2018. Unfortunately the Flach family was unable to show the dam, 902G, because of covid in 2020 and the lack of cattle shows. This heifer is sound at the ground, long spinned and smooth in her design. We wanted to try adding a little color to our offering this year. Garry Taylor said he had one he thought we would like, and boy was he right. This May baby is as powerful and fancy as you can get. Two words that don’t normally go together, but with this one they do. There is not a more beautiful cow family in this breed in our opinion. Everyone knows Outlier has been making a splash with his progeny and this one is no exception. She has a sweet disposition, is the perfect size, and will be competitive at any level. We showed her as a 9-year old cow alongside Lot 5 this year and they were named the Champion Cow-Calf Pair at the Kentucky State Fair. 354A is a maternal sister to CTRH Drama Queen, the dam of the 2022 Cattlemen’s Congre Champion Red Angus Female. There are purple banners on the top and bottom of this pedigree. Take this opportunity to add a few to your wall.
