Join me on an exciting journey through Kerela (Southern most state of India) in this special travel edition! Discover the rich history, culture, food, and lifestyle of this beautiful region. One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the harmonious coexistence of two religions, Hinduism, and Judaism. The Paradesi Synagogue was built (1568) adjacent to the Mattancherry Palace temple, showcasing the community’s peaceful and tolerant way of life.

In addition to our cultural exploration, I am thrilled to announce our latest project win - a Ski Resort at Breckenridge! We are excited to bring our expertise and passion to this new venture.

Lastly, I want to give a big shout out to Alyssa Demartino, a fierce female leader in the construction industry. Her inspiring leadership and dedication to excellence continue to break barriers and pave the way for future generations.

Kochi - Paradesi Synagogue

The Paradesi Synagogue aka Cochin Jewish Synagogue or the Mattancherry Synagogue (Malayalam) is a synagogue located in Mattancherry Jew Town, a suburb of the city of Kochi, Kerala, in India. It was built in 1568 A.D. by Samuel Castiel, David Belila, and Joseph Levi for the flourishing Paradesi Jewish community in Kochi. It was built adjacent to the Mattancherry Palace temple on the land given to the community by the Raja of Kochi,

Allepey - Heritage Home

Had an amazing time immersing myself in history and architecture during my stay at a stunning heritage home in Allepey. The unique all-wood construction, featuring intricate handcrafted details and a heavy stone plinth to withstand the region’s heavy rainfall, is truly breathtaking. The lifestyle experience dates back 200 years, with walls made entirely of wood paneling and doors and windows boasting an intricate lock and bolt system.

Munnar - Tea Plantations, Ayurvedic Resorts

Munnar, a picturesque town nestled in the Western Ghats Mountain range of Kerala, India, is a perfect retreat for anyone seeking tranquility and natural beauty. The town boasts of rolling hills adorned with tea plantations, established way back in the late 19th century. But that’s not all that Munnar has to offer. It is also home to some of the best luxury Ayurvedic spas, still following the ageold Indian tradition of wellness treatments.

Alyssa DeMartino is currently a Senior Advisor at Construction Risk Partners; a national insurance and surety brokerage dedicated to the construction industry and oversees Business Development and Sales Strategy for the firm’s Florida office. Since moving from New York City to Miami four years ago, Alyssa has cultivated a deep network within the local commercial real estate community.

Alyssa is an active member of several commercial real estate organizations including Urban Land Institute, South Florida Associated General Contractors, Builders Association of South Florida, Committee Member of South Florida Association of Medical Facilities Professionals, and Wellness for Women in Real Estate. Since joining Construction Risk Partners in June of 2023, Alyssa has been focused on bringing construction insurance awareness commercial real estate network and helping her construction clients find solutions for their insurance needs.
