Editor’s note

In this month’s issue, our main focus is on the environments shaped by the narrative of food ingredients, culinary traditions, cultural stories, travel, and the creation of lasting memories for guests. We also highlight the significance of personal branding and its profound influence on a company and its target audience.

We trust that this piece brings you as much joy in reading as it brought us in its creation.

Creating environments that honor both food & heritage

As women continue to enter the workforce by choice or due to their life circumstances or changing family structures, it’s important to take a holistic approach to our built environments. Whether it’s an office, hotel, or airport or any other real estate asset class, we must consider how to support our changing lifestyles and challenges. Let’s work towards creating inclusive spaces that meet the needs of all

Chef Olivia has introduced kosher French dining to the Buena Vista neighborhood in Miami with her restaurant Ostrow. A pioneer her field, she has crafted a unique culinary experience that reflects her diverse personal background and globetrotting adventures. She wants to revolutionize the kosher world, with the goal of changing a niche market that has long been left aside.

Creating environments that honor both food & heritage

The design of the 2,400-square-foot Ostrow Brasserie was inspired by Chef Olivia’s childhood in France, complemented by Miami’s tropical influences. A whimsical art wall highlights over 40 pieces from Chef Olivia’s personal collection, while the signature Art Nouveau mural, a replica of one of artist Alphonse Mucha’s famous beer posters, at the restaurant’s entrance pays tribute to France’s storied past. The restaurant’s décor perfectly reflects a combination of her culinary flair and personal history.
