GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION KINGSTON 2

Cargill Brown, Regional Manager The Journey

The CashWiz journey in Jamaica began with a dream. To be a trusted resource in the communities we serve by providing instant cash to those in need and quality retail products for everyone. Back then we were seen as the cash for gold place or the place that buys “thing weh ppl no want.”

While there are a few that still believe this ideology, our core, the people that we serve see us as a gateway for survival and continuity. For the unbanked we are their lifeline, for the working class we are their partner who keeps them going until the end of the month, for the businesses we serve, we are the pillar that keeps them open.

To our corporate team, we are “one of the most integral markets.” To our staff, we are their home away from home, to our stakeholders and corporate clients we are that demanding company, and to our community we are a necessity.

CashWiz Jamaica celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. How do I know? I’ve been here with them every step of the way. With thousands of satisfied customers (if you don’t believe check our Google reviews) our journey has taken a new path, a path of progress and structure, a path of compliance and presence, and a path of profits.

For this year, we plan to open more stores in more parishes across Jamaica. Giving the unbanked and the underbanked a legitimate means of accessing resources that will aid their sustenance and welfare through flexible Buy Back Options. CashWiz and other similar businesses in the industry should never be seen as a means to aid illicit activities. We ensure that all members of staff are equipped with annual AML and KYC, we continuously review and update our Standard Operating Procedures and ensure that every individual in the company has access to training and material. As pioneers in the industry, our ambition is to help amend the laws that govern our industry to provide more security to our country, our customers, and most importantly our people.

We will continue to provide gainful employment and invest in our teams as they are the foundation of our success. Over the years we have enrolled several members of staff in advanced courses at the University of the West Indies and the HEART Academy. We will continue to pay our employees fairly and provide an avenue for continued growth and development as we aim to be a preferred place of employment in Jamaica.

With the global volatility and uncertainty that we now face and the continued shortages of resources, the continued effects of global inflation our solution is to continue to provide quality retail products backed by our Simple Protection Plan. Our world class layaway program allows ordinary Jamaicans to afford the items of their dream with peace of mind from bailiffs and creditors breathing down their necks. With over 100,000 satisfied customers we have not even scratched the surface of our full potential in this market.

To our corporate team, we thank you and encourage you to continue to guide us and hold us accountable to international standards as we are the best in the world.

First off Juan is was amazing. My husband and I decided run in and find a quick item. We didn’t see anything that stuck out and he went to the back bringing out more items. We found something we absolutely loved and in our budget. The staff was really friendly. Really clean and offering several options. Check it out and ask for Juan the manager.

Capture new customers, use your Magnetic Signs!

JEWELRY TRAINING IN SESSION...

This month, we completed Level 4 Diamond Training in Nassau and Turks & Caicos. Our sales teams are ready to provide the best services to our customers!

One of the best tools you have to utilize your Silent Salesperson and grab your customers attention are with the Magnetic Signs that comewithyournewjewelrydisplays.

These should be used to highlight specially priced items, point out managers specials, identify clearance items and other such things that will get the customers attention. The goal is to get the customer to wait for a salesperson when team members are busy with other customers.

If you do not have specially priced items clearly marked, the customer may walk out of the store before a salesperson can get to them, leaving them thinking they cannot afford the jewelry they desire. The danger is that they may never come back, and they may tell everyone they know that our prices are too high.

This is why the new displays are magnetic and allow the signs to stick to them. And in the case of non-magnetic elements, like the pillows, you can place the metal stand next to the display and the sign will stick to that.

In addition to the flexibility to make your own sign inserts, you can also find pre-printed sign inserts on our Simple Pawn/CashWiz online supplies portal.

Create excitement and point out specially priced items with your magnetic signs so your new customers will buy the items they want at the price that captured their attention!
