The greens where running well on Thursday April 27 with some great Bowls played.

The winners of the day where the Tannymorel team of Sue Butz and Ronnie Philips. Runners up where, Lynda Hartley and Peter Collis. Encouragement award went to Jacqui and Aaron Ritchie. Mixed social bowls was once again sponsored by Luise and Gunter.

Narrow winners of the day where Peter Collis and Johnno. Runners up where, Dippo and Steve. Mixed social bowls next Saturday names in by 12.30pm 1pm start.

Bowlers and non bowlers welcome with bowls available for non-bowlers.

Result of Bowls played on Wednesday April 26: Final of A Grade Singles - Trevor Wright def. Russell Bean 25-12. Marker - Edwin Welsh. Both players played an excellent game up until the 15th End with Trevor leading 12-11. Trevor then won 6 out of the 7 Ends to win the Final 25-12. Congratulations to Trevor as the Champion and to Russell as the Runner-up.

Social Game - There were 2 Rinks of Social Bowls with only one Score Card handed in. Pamela Kerr, Nat Kumseewad and Phil Wagner def. Carolene,, Michael Dungey and John Ruhle 14-12.

Result of Social Bowls April 29: Percy Cutmore, Michael Dungey and Edwin Welsh def. Pamela Kerr, Ken Hayes and Craig Thurgate 30-7. To nominate for Bowls on Wednesday or Saturday, names must be in between 12 midday and 12.30 for Play at 1pm. Ring the Club on 4661 1516 between these times, or names on the Club’s outside noticeboard.
