On May 6 in Warwick's Queens Park, the grand opening of the Farmers Market expansion will debut following council approval, boosting the stall capacity past 40 stalls, which will potentially “attracted thousands to “put a focus on buying local".

An emphasis has been placed on “Warwick produce for Warwick resi- dents” in order to reduce food miles and encourage locals to buy local, according to the Courier Mail.
Lisa Hansford, contributor for the Warwick Farmers Market, said they "were extremely excited for the 'relaunch'".
“Since starting eight months ago, we’re really keen to put the call out there and bring even more stalls with high quality fresh produce for all to enjoy,” Ms Hansford said.
