Three Saints' vibrant colour amid visible faith in God

The celebration of the "Three Saints"traditionally the first Sunday of the month of May but this year, aligning with the long weekend concluding on May 1was enjoyed by busloads and carloads of visitors, as well as hosts of locals last Sunday, April 30 in St Joseph's Parish Church and School.

All ages and various cultures took part in the day's social and religious events, with Warwick Parish Priest, Fr Franco Filipetto presiding at the 1pm Mass.

Acting Stanthorpe Parish Priest, Fr Salvador Fernandes carried the relic of one of the saints, through the local streets as part of the procession. He was joined by semi-retired priest, Fr Brian Connolly and current seminarian and former Stanthorpian, BJ Perrett. We will report more in Friday's Stanthorpe Record and explain the story of the saints as well as the history of the relic pictured here.
